Situational teaching in English classroom is to transform boring teaching content into lively and interesting activities, tasks and contents that students are willing to accept through imagination, so that students can better organize their thinking in real or simulated language situations, understand the information and language materials transmitted in specific situations, stimulate their desire to express their thoughts, and thus promote the cultivation of students' ability to understand and express their thoughts in English. Therefore, students must feel, analyze, understand and practice in the situation of using language, and move from simulated communication to real communication in order to truly master English.

Bloom, an educational psychologist, once said: "Successful foreign language classroom teaching should create more situations in the classroom, so that students have the opportunity to use the language materials they have learned." Therefore, situational teaching is a very important teaching mode in English teaching. Proper use of it can cultivate students' ability to communicate with each other and convey their thoughts and feelings. Because we teach non-native culture, English teachers use this teaching method reasonably, so that big learners can finish our language teaching in a deliberately created environment. Enhance the friendship between teachers and students.

First, create a scene.

The language of all languages comes from our life and is the product of reflection on the environment. The application of English situational teaching is that our teachers create daily life teaching scenes, such as classrooms, playgrounds, canteens, shops, cinemas and other typical life scenes, and guide students to practice English communicative conversation activities in the form of "live simulation" and "live broadcast".

Piaget, the father of modern psychologists, said, "All mental work depends on interest". A good beginning is half the battle. A good beginning is half the battle, and interest is the best teacher. British linguist C.E.Eckersley also thinks that the problem of "interest" in English teaching is not a small topic. Interest is an indispensable internal motivation for students to learn English well. And an English class that interests students often begins with the introduction and warm-up of each class. A few minutes of practice, properly used, can get twice the result with half the effort. For example, I will warm them up before each class. For example, invite some students to the podium for activities in the form of telling jokes, singing, daily conversation, guessing, spelling contests, word puzzles, etc. Let students concentrate their thoughts quickly in a few minutes before class, enhance their self-confidence and enliven the classroom atmosphere. Therefore, it is particularly important to create interesting teaching scenes and stimulate students' strong thirst for knowledge.

So how to make students interested in English, English teachers play a key role.

1, break the tradition

In the past, many teachers' activities were confined to the three-foot platform, and contemporary teachers should not stick to it. We can walk off the platform and stay with the students while teaching. Making them feel relaxed and natural can better stimulate students' creative thinking.

2. Import a theme

Before each class, teachers should prepare lessons carefully and make full preparations. It is necessary to design every link to be completed in class. For example, when we are going to talk about the movie theme the next day, the teacher can guide us to talk about the introduction of words such as horror movies, action movies and comedies.

Step 3 use props

The description of language is far from direct, and proper use of props can get twice the result with half the effort. For example, the next day, we will have a scene painting dialogue about shopping. Teachers can bring certain commodities, such as photo frames, wallets and different banknotes, which can make students more effective and interesting in practical exercises, thus better mobilizing their active participation and effectively improving classroom efficiency.

4. Song rendering

In English textbooks for secondary vocational schools, there are often topics about festivals, such as Unit7 Christmas in Book 1. When learning this text, I will play the classic song Jingle Bells before class, then let the students guess the name of this song and when they can hear it. Finally, I will teach you how to sing this song, so that an English class will soon end with everyone's singing.

Second, the scene extension

As a teacher, the duty is not only to pass on textbook knowledge to students, but also not to forget the responsibility of educating people with arrows while teaching. Therefore, we should expand our knowledge and cultural background under different learning conditions. For example, there is a class "Everything is Crazy" in China! After the teaching process, I guided the students to explore the prospect of China's small commodity production in the world, and inspired the students' patriotic plot through the teacher's introduction.

Third, the interspersed application of games.

English classroom teaching can't be well controlled only by the creation of situations, so appropriate game episodes can create a relaxed and natural language practice atmosphere for students, making them happy and eager to learn. For example, in the process of teaching words, when I want to lead everyone to read new words, I can play a game of burying mines, that is, before reading, the teacher circles a few words with mines, and students can't read them when reading, otherwise they will get hurt. This is a game to train students' attention. In practice, students who violate the rules are punished for performing programs. So the students are in high spirits.

Dostoevsky, a famous German educator, once said: "The art of teaching lies not in the ability to impart, but in inspiring, summoning and inspiring." Teachers' dominant emotions in teaching should be happy, which can affect and trigger students' happy emotions through the infectious function of emotions. Teachers should also use scenes to set off the emotional atmosphere in the teaching content. English should be taught in situations and learned in situations. English teaching without scenes is not only difficult to stimulate students' interest in learning, but also not conducive to students' transformation from knowledge to ability. Therefore, in English teaching, teachers should create all creative situations. Emotional teaching has become a teaching method advocated by humanistic education.
