Health education; counter-measure
With the change of medical model and the change of clients' demand for health education, health education has become an important part of holistic nursing, and it is also an important responsibility given to nurses by modern medicine to meet patients' health needs. In the process of teaching interaction, there are many factors that affect the effect of patient education. Necessary measures can be taken to improve the ability and effect of nurses' health education, so that health education can truly become a bridge connecting health knowledge and health behavior and achieve the purpose of health education.
1 Factors affecting health education
1. 1 Lack of educational awareness. A survey in China shows that due to the influence of traditional nursing mode, nurses don't know the role of education clearly and don't take health education as their obligation, which will undoubtedly have a negative impact on patients' educational activities.
1.2 lack of educational knowledge and skills. Health education is a treatment to help patients establish healthy behaviors. To achieve good educational results, nurses must master basic educational knowledge and skills, otherwise they will not be competent for educational work.
1.3 Education for patients with communication skills mainly depends on oral and non-oral forms. Nurses who lack communication skills will have fear of difficulties and fear in education, which will directly affect the educational effect of patients.
1.4 Good nurse-patient relationship is the basis of patient education. If the relationship between nurses and patients is tense or mutually exclusive, nurses will not gain the trust of patients, and patients will also lack interest in the content of nurse education, and the education effect is not good.
1.5 Inappropriate opportunity for education When patients are still eating, sleeping, emotionally unstable or suffering from diseases, health education will lead to patients' disgust and rejection, and the purpose of education will not be achieved.
1.6 Unclear functions and legal responsibilities In the process of health education, if nurses do not clarify their functions and communicate with doctors insufficiently, nurses will not correctly interpret or even misinterpret or disagree with the opinions of the doctors in charge, which will not only reduce patients' trust in nurses, but also lead to medical disputes [1].
2 response measures
2. 1 Establish the concept of health education With the improvement of living standards, patients' health concepts are obviously updated, and there is a strong demand for related disease knowledge and self-care knowledge. Nurses should fully realize that strengthening health education is an effective way to meet patients' health knowledge needs and an important means to change the unhealthy lifestyle of patients and their families. It is the responsibility and obligation of nurses to do a solid, in-depth and meticulous health education for different patients, diseases and different periods of diseases.
2.2 Supplementary knowledge of health education Only by mastering profound professional knowledge can nurses have a thorough and detailed insight into the changes of diseases and provide professional health education and guidance according to the characteristics of diseases, the progress of disease courses and the problems existing in patients. Nurses should pay attention to supplement relevant knowledge such as disease treatment, nursing theory, psychology, management and communication in clinical work, so as to make health education effective and make patients truly achieve the unity of "knowledge, belief and practice".
2.3 Strengthen communication skills When communicating with patients, nurses should first pay attention to active listening, use appropriate tone and intonation, and strive to be timely, moderate and easy to understand. Pay attention to the communication distance with patients. In the process of nursing, we should be enthusiastic, smile and dignified, be good at observing patients' nonverbal information, make use of the situation and make communication smooth. We can master the proper use of verbal and nonverbal communication skills through lectures, pairing, transmission, help and tape by senior nurses or nurses in charge to improve the effectiveness of communication.
2.4 Establish a good nurse-patient relationship. After admission, the patient will introduce himself to the patient, introduce the hospital environment, ward facilities and management regulations, explain the content of education services to be provided to the patient, abide by the promise, gain the trust of the patient and eliminate the tension of the patient. Encourage patients to actively participate in teaching during hospitalization, stimulate patients' interest in learning, accept and respect patients, protect patients' privacy, and help patients establish good compliance behavior. Before the patient leaves the hospital, evaluate the education results in time, solicit patients' opinions on the education work, and explain the matters needing attention after discharge, so that patients can satisfactorily accept the reality of ending the nurse-patient relationship.
2.5 Be good at seizing the opportunity of health education and adopting effective health education methods. Nurses should seize the opportunity and carry out education at any time according to patients' educational goals. If the patient's blood pressure is measured, tell the patient the current blood pressure situation and the adverse reactions caused by taking antihypertensive drugs in time. Nurses collect patients' demand information at any time when they patrol the ward, and take timely measures to meet patients' needs, such as issuing health prescriptions, health picture books and watching video materials to patients with high academic qualifications and their families [2]. This not only saves time, but also achieves good results.
2.6 Strengthening legal knowledge training With the popularization of legal knowledge, the public's legal awareness has been continuously enhanced, and there is a higher requirement on whether to carry out health education and the content and effect of health education. In the process of health education, nurses should communicate with the competent doctors in time when it comes to the treatment scheme of patients and the prognosis of diseases. , in order to avoid the phenomenon that promises or doctors' explanations are inconsistent [1].
To sum up, the level of nurses' health education ability depends on whether nurses have established the concept of health education and "people-oriented" service; Secondly, nurses must master profound professional theories, extensive relevant knowledge, certain legal knowledge and skillfully use communication skills; You should also have the ability to integrate theory with practice and flexibly use nursing procedures. Therefore, nursing managers at all levels should strengthen the education and training of nurses, so that nurses can have a deeper understanding of the connotation of health education and have good health education ability, and implement personalized health education according to the characteristics of patients, so that patients can truly achieve the unity of "knowledge, belief and practice".
