Abstract: With the rapid development of social economy and science and technology, more choices are provided for people who pursue high-quality life. The emergence and renewal of CATV technology not only meets people's spiritual and cultural needs, but also meets the cultural needs of vision. In modern life, while the installation and debugging technology of CATV is constantly optimized, there are more and more problems in installation, debugging and use. Therefore, taking effective measures to strengthen the maintenance of CATV technology has become a hot issue of social concern.

1 Overview of CATV installation and debugging
The installation and debugging of CATV mainly focus on two parts: one is the installation and debugging of front-end equipment, and the other is the installation and debugging of user set-top boxes. Therefore, the installation and debugging of CATV should strictly abide by the installation procedures and complete all the work in strict accordance with the installation instructions. At the same time, in the process of cable TV equipment installation, we should carefully check the quality problems of linkage cables. If there are problems related to the quality of cable connectors in the installation process, it will bring a lot of unnecessary trouble to the debugging of cable TV. Check whether the port link between the TV set-top box and the TV is normal before connecting. Debugging after installation to achieve the best playback effect.

If the power supply is not turned off in time, the motherboard of the set-top box may be damaged by lightning. In order to avoid potential safety hazards, it is the fastest and most effective preventive method to turn off the power supply in time and prevent the intrusion of point flow in special weather environment.
3. Technical optimization in the process of CATV debugging.
3. 1 Strengthen the regular inspection of cable TV.
The problems in the process of CATV installation and debugging are mainly caused by set-top box failure, TV front-end and network distribution. Regular inspection is an essential process. Based on the above problems, in order to improve the TV viewing effect, if there is mosaic in multi-area or full-area TV, it is necessary to check the front-end system failure of cable TV, which is probably related to the front-end system failure. Therefore, the regular inspection of CATV has become an indispensable work in the maintenance module of CATV system.
3.2 Eliminate relevant interference in time.
For the interference problem, it is necessary to observe and analyze the TV installation and debugging process to find the interference factors in time. There are various problems, and the leakage interference of the main equipment and other equipment and external signals will affect the viewing effect. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the TV tuning environment and accurately judge the interference category when the fault occurs, so as to prescribe the right medicine, organize other interference projects in time and relieve the TV broadcasting fault. If it is impossible to judge the interference signal source and line conditions, methods such as double isolation should be adopted to eliminate interference factors.
3.3 Equipment replacement method
Equipment is the most critical factor to interfere with CATV network signals, and the disorder of network signals is most likely due to equipment failure. When troubleshooting such faults, the faulty equipment must be replaced or debugged as soon as possible. If there is no TV network failure after replacing the equipment, it will clearly show that the failure is caused by the equipment. For example, if the TV breaks down, we must first determine the scope of the failure in time. After determining which equipment has a problem, try to narrow the scope to the distributor, and then troubleshoot the midrange amplifier and the large-scale optical and mechanical station, measure the electrical frequency signal index, and judge the distributor fault, amplifier fault or optical and mechanical station fault one by one.
3.4 Commissioning and installation of optical machine and optical station
When installing the optical machine and workstation, technicians need to work out the accurate and detailed operation standard flow first, and install it in strict accordance with the requirements of the operation standard. After installation, the corresponding accessories need to be adjusted by reverse debugging. Analog signals can be transmitted from the monitoring port, and the computer room is equipped with AGC mode return module. During normal operation, a 4dB plug can be installed at the upper end of the total attenuation position of the optical station. If the output level is too high, it is usually an abnormal problem in the computer room module; If the output level is less than a certain point, check the optical module of the optical station in detail to see if the input level is equal to 7 1dB. If necessary, the optical module or receiving module should be replaced or upgraded in time. Under the new project management mode, technical requirements and business requirements will no longer be managed and implemented by functional departments. Therefore, there will be no problem for functional departments to coordinate and communicate with each other, forming multi-sectoral cooperation and coordinated operations. Project management can be adopted under the existing functional management. Through the way of project leader, the project can be well managed, and at the same time, the debugging problems and technical optimization of cable TV can be managed quickly and effectively. According to the different influences of the project and the difficulty of the project, we can determine the project leaders at different levels, adopt the project leader responsibility system to take charge of the whole project process, and coordinate and communicate the relationship between various departments.
5 conclusion
In modern life, people's quality of life is constantly improving, and they have a higher level of pursuit of TV viewing effect, not only for clarity, but also for the increase of the number of programs. Cable TV will meet this demand well, but it is easily interfered by network norms, thus affecting the viewing effect. Technicians conducted in-depth analysis and discussion on the cause of the failure, identified a number of maintenance methods, and standardized the installation and debugging work, hoping to improve the signal quality.
