During my college study, I was deeply attracted by a recruitment poster on campus, which activated my dream of joining the army and serving the country. I came to the camp of Inner Mongolia prairie and became a PLA soldier. When I first came to the army, I didn't adapt to life here. I'm behind in my physical fitness subjects, and my grades are often at the bottom. I have been used to the climate in the south since I was a child, and I have to face the biting cold wind in winter here. After running in the morning, the breath exhaled by the nose and mouth formed ice bumps on the mask a few minutes later. Even so, I firmly believe? Stupid birds fly first? Get up an hour earlier than others, practice one kilometer more every day and sweat more. Everything comes to him who waits, and I finally made great progress in my physical fitness.
After returning to campus, with the belief that the army will not fade, I tried to bring the fine style of the army into my study life, and encouraged more young college students with dreams and responsibilities to enter the military camp and devote themselves to the practice of realizing the dream of strengthening the army. On the Army Day, National Defense Education Day and other time nodes, I held activities and lectures with other retired college students and soldiers, promoted national defense education on campus, encouraged more people to learn from heroes, predecessors and role models, and courageously advanced in the tide of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
In the new era, young people in China are born at the right time, shouldering heavy responsibilities, displaying their talents on an extremely broad stage, and the prospect of realizing their dreams is extremely bright. During my Ph.D. in university, I chose rural revitalization and environmental governance as my research fields. From the rapid development of characteristic towns to the prosperity of ex situ poverty alleviation and relocation villages in Lingnan area, I have witnessed earth-shaking changes in the country in field investigation and research. Combine your major, take root in the field, and strive to turn yourself into? Soil expert? And then what? Tian Xiucai? . I deeply feel that going out of the mountains, studying, joining the army and investigating all the way is to help the villagers live a better life. After understanding this truth, I chose to come to a village in western Hunan to serve as the resident curator of the public welfare library and explore how to stimulate rural vitality by improving rural education. At the same time, I also use my knowledge to participate in the improvement of local living environment and the construction of rural culture, and contribute to the revitalization of the countryside.
From a teenager with a strong military dream to a graduate student exploring and practicing in various fields of the motherland, I have grown up with my peers in the times. Based on the new era and new journey, the goal and direction of China Youth can be summed up in one point, that is, unswervingly listen to and follow the party, and strive to grow into a new person of the times who can shoulder the heavy responsibility of national rejuvenation.
