Structure of coal
The molecular structure of coal is complex and diverse. Although coal chemists have given a macromolecular model of coal based on chemical methods, the research combined with geological factors is still weak. In order to further study the changing characteristics of coal chemical structure under the influence of geological factors, the topic "Coal Geology and Coal Structure" is based on natural geological conditions, combined with petrology and computer simulation technology, to explore the evolution of coal chemical structure, in order to provide theoretical support for clean and efficient utilization of coal. Seven representative papers were published, focusing on the latest scientific and technological achievements in the influence of magmatism on the petrological characteristics of coal chemical structure, the construction and evolution of molecular structure, the evolution of hydrocarbon-generating structure of bituminous coal and suggestions on the utilization of coal resources.

Mining coal

The characteristics of China's energy resources endowments determine the dominant position of coal in the energy structure. Digging deep into the dual attribute value of coal resources and energy is conducive to achieving the goal of "double carbon". The geological conditions of coal formation are the essential factors affecting the chemical structure of coal, and the structural characteristics of coal directly determine its processing and utilization level.
