However, people find that these systems always have some defects: students' learning is still passive, students can't answer deep-seated questions, they can't accurately determine the reasons when the answers are wrong, and personalized guidance is not targeted. Therefore, the future system needs to be able to achieve: first, to achieve friendly and natural man-machine dialogue, through human natural language for man-machine dialogue, to understand students' understanding state more deeply, to learn knowledge and laws more naturally, and to express their understanding and requirements more conveniently. Secondly, it can detect and judge the reasons why students make mistakes, and give appropriate guidance and correction. Third, we can give reasonable feedback on unexpected problems and mistakes, including understanding students' reactions and evaluating whether students' guesses are reasonable. Fourth, accumulate teaching experience and adjust the systematic teaching strategies in time according to the specific situation. Such a system is actually an intelligent assistant teaching system. As early as 1970' s, some people abroad studied the intelligent computer-aided instruction system. In 1990s, some people put forward the key points of intelligent hypermedia teaching system. The so-called intelligent hypermedia is an intelligent information processing technology that combines artificial intelligence technology with hypermedia information organization and management. In the intelligent hypermedia teaching system, ICAI module can use the friendly interface provided by hypermedia to stimulate students' learning interest and motivation, and at the same time, it can also use hypermedia to provide students with illustrated information; Hypermedia module can use knowledge reasoning technology to realize the adaptive control of teaching content and teaching strategy, and give targeted guidance to students. Intelligent hypermedia system based on network should be based on intelligent building technology. Some people put forward new concepts such as intelligent education building and intelligent network classroom. At present, the research and development of intelligent hypermedia teaching system has become an important frontier topic in the field of multimedia network teaching application.
