Abstract: English education in junior high school is the most systematic teaching link of English knowledge in nine-year compulsory education. English teaching in junior high school is mainly based on classroom teaching, and how to implement efficient teaching in limited classroom time has become a concern of every English teacher. English teaching is a two-way process. From the students' point of view, efficient classroom is to master core knowledge within limited classroom time. For teachers, efficient classroom is to achieve high-quality teaching goals in the shortest teaching time. From this perspective, the implementation of efficient English classroom in junior high school needs to be considered from different angles of teachers and students.

According to the guiding ideology of the new curriculum, the implementation of efficient classroom teaching can save more time for students and teachers, help them to explore "emotional attitudes and values" in English learning more deeply, and thus better practice the concept of quality education. With the advancement of the new curriculum reform, the traditional junior high school English classroom teaching model has gradually failed to meet the educational needs of the new era. According to the present situation and characteristics of junior high school English teaching, this paper probes into the implementation of efficient English classroom, aiming at improving the classroom efficiency of junior high school English teaching.

1 Analysis of English Teaching Characteristics and Teaching Status in Junior Middle Schools

English teaching in junior high school has a wide and far-reaching influence on students' English learning. According to most junior high schools in China, English teaching is the beginning of systematically introducing and transmitting English knowledge to students. As a basic teaching process, junior high school English classroom teaching focuses on some simple words and phrases, listening, speaking, writing, sentence tenses and other knowledge points. Basic English teaching and simple practical exercises are the most distinctive features of junior high school English teaching in teaching content. In the expansion and application of knowledge points, junior high school English teaching often tests and consolidates students' English knowledge through listening practice, oral communication and composition. To sum up, the characteristics of junior high school English teaching are not only emphasizing the subject foundation, but also providing students with diversified development needs; Pay attention not only to students' theoretical knowledge of teaching materials, but also to the cultivation of students' comprehensive English ability. At present, the problems existing in most junior middle school English classroom teaching mainly include the following three aspects. First of all, the English classroom teaching mode is relatively simple. We can see that most junior middle school English teachers use a teaching method in the whole English teaching class, for example, first teach new words to read, then explain them, and finally choose words to make sentences. This model can be seen everywhere in junior high school English classes in China. Although it is understandable, if we continue to use this old teaching "routine", it will inevitably greatly reduce the interest of English classes. The second problem of junior high school classroom teaching is the inversion of classroom subject. One of the directions of the new curriculum reform is to change the main body of the traditional classroom. In the long-term education process, teachers have always been the main body of the classroom, and students' learning and thinking depend on the guidance of teachers. This inverted classroom subject undoubtedly limits the individualized development of students. Third, English classroom design needs to be improved. Many English classroom teaching usually can't achieve the teachers' established plans, which leads to low classroom efficiency and weak students' understanding and mastery of knowledge points. The reason is that there are some problems in classroom design, which can't be well adapted to actual teaching.

2 the implementation of efficient classroom methods to explore

2. 1 classroom design: there is an old saying in China: what is foreseen is established, and what is not foreseen is abolished. Compared with other courses, junior high school English classroom needs teachers to spend some time designing the classroom before class because of its special language and culture. The purpose of classroom design is to help teachers make classroom plans so as to carry out teaching work in a more organized and hierarchical way. The purpose of classroom design is to closely follow the content of teaching materials and combine the characteristics of students. The important work of classroom design is preparing lessons. In order to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching, teachers need to have a detailed understanding and mastery of the content of teaching materials. Preparing lessons is the basis of implementing efficient classroom, so teachers might as well spend more time on this work. For example, preparing lessons at different levels. Because there are some differences in students' learning ability, in order to "take care" of each student's learning as much as possible, teachers can consider at different levels when preparing lessons: for some students with strong learning ability and good English foundation, we might as well design some slightly more difficult English exercises for them in teaching to meet their learning needs; For some students who are new to English, teachers should focus on the teaching of basic knowledge to help them master the basic knowledge firmly, so as to step by step. The second point of classroom design is to make a reasonable teaching plan. Teachers should treat every English classroom teaching as a systematic work, refine the teaching objectives according to the overall teaching requirements, complete each teaching objective step by step, and create an efficient classroom.

2.2 Change the classroom subject and enliven the classroom atmosphere: As mentioned above, one of the problems in junior high school English classroom is the inversion of the classroom subject. To implement efficient classroom, teachers need to complete the identity transformation from classroom subject to classroom leader. As a two-way process, English teaching pays more attention to the two-way interaction between teachers and students, rather than the monotonous mode of teacher's explanation-student's record. In classroom teaching, teachers should encourage and guide students to ask questions and integrate students into the classroom by establishing an equal and harmonious relationship between teachers and students. At this point, we need to innovate in teaching methods. In addition to the necessary teaching links (word definition, grammar explanation, etc. ), some flexible teaching content can let students play freely in groups. For example, in some common situational dialogue exercises, teachers can encourage students to "play together" through guest roles in specific situations, so as to achieve the teaching effect of "integration of knowledge and practice". Of course, the change of classroom subject is closely related to the active classroom atmosphere. Only when students are fully aware of their dominant position in the classroom can they learn and explore English knowledge more actively. The status of teachers as classroom leaders is still very important, and the learning habits and methods of junior high school students are still in the stage of standardization and development. In English class, teachers should guide and guide students' learning and correct their learning problems in time.

2.3 Strengthen classroom practice and improve classroom efficiency: The purpose of implementing efficient classroom is to help students master English knowledge more firmly and apply it flexibly in concrete practice. In junior high school English classroom teaching, the examination of students' academic performance is a very important link, which can feedback the problems existing in students' learning in time. Teachers can further explain the weak points in students' learning according to their own practice, so as to realize high-quality and efficient classroom teaching. There are many ways to practice in class, for example, using newly learned words to make sentences according to the corresponding grammar and tense to test students' ability to understand and use the meaning of words. If it is a listening class, you can use variant to play some short articles and situational dialogues, so that students can retell the original sentences and summarize the original meaning to test their English listening ability. In short, the forms of classroom practice are diverse, and its starting point and destination are to supplement and improve classroom teaching and help improve classroom teaching efficiency. Abstract: English classroom teaching in junior middle schools should have such basic elements as flexibility, diversity, inclusiveness and harmony. According to the guiding ideology of the new curriculum, efforts should be made to promote the individualized development of students' English ability and comprehensively improve their comprehensive English ability. Actively innovating and exploring new teaching methods and constantly improving the traditional classroom teaching mode are important means to create an efficient classroom.
