Doctoral students in science and engineering must have 1 academic papers published in English.

2. There are only 1 papers published in journals of universities such as Journal of South China University of Technology and other academic journals sponsored by South China University of Technology, and only 1 papers published in academic conferences. Academic papers published in academic conferences recognized by various disciplines must be included in SCI/EI.

3. A doctoral student who has published 1 academic papers in international important academic journals of this discipline with himself as the first author is deemed to meet the conditions for applying for a degree and publishing academic papers. With the consent of the tutor and the college, their papers can be reviewed by the college.

4. As the first inventor, the invention patents related to the research ability of doctoral students are equivalent to 1 academic papers included in SCI/EI.
