Loanwords from Korea account for 1%-2% of Korean, mainly English loanwords. However, with the development of Korean economy, the proportion of English loanwords is getting higher and higher, especially in industries that are in line with international standards, such as games and cosmetics.

The improvement of English loanwords shows the indirect performance of South Korea's full integration into the international community.
