The present situation of communication between contemporary college students and their parents
College students are the hope and future of the Chinese nation, the inheritors of China's traditional culture, and shoulder the historical responsibility and heavy responsibility of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. There is an old saying: "Virtue is the foundation of success, and filial piety is the door to virtue". The filial piety of contemporary college students is directly related to the overall cultivation of the nation and the construction of a harmonious socialist society. Based on the idea of integrating theory with practice, this survey was conducted in accordance with the idea of "theoretical discussion-investigation and study-problem analysis-countermeasure thinking". Through questionnaire survey, this paper makes an empirical study on the communication between contemporary college students and their parents. It is found that the mainstream of filial piety of contemporary college students is positive, healthy and progressive, but there is also a certain degree of lack of filial piety, such as lack of care and respect for parents. The reasons for the communication between contemporary college students and their parents are not only internal factors, that is, immature psychology and poor pressure resistance, but also external factors, that is, the influence of society, school and family. Therefore, to further strengthen the relationship between contemporary college students and their parents, we should start with optimizing the social environment, paying attention to school training, family education and self-practice.

Second, the content of the survey

A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed in this survey (see annex 1), and 496 questionnaires were recovered, with a recovery rate of 99. 1%. Freshman 350, sophomore 150. 34% boys and 66% girls; Anhui local students account for 9 1%, and students from other provinces account for 9%; Only children account for 54%, and non-only children account for 46%.

(1) Contact with parents

The survey results show that about 65% students will contact their parents at least once a week; About 27% freshmen talk to their parents once a day, which is four times that of sophomores. About 30% of sophomores contact their parents according to the situation, and this proportion accounts for 7% of freshmen. Compared with boys and girls, 28% of girls talk to their parents every day, which is 2.5 times that of boys (1 1%). Most students prefer to contact their mothers, which is consistent with the traditional family concept in China. Mothers play a major role in the education of children's life details.

Through the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that freshmen are more dependent on their parents than sophomores when they leave their parents for the first time. Compared with girls, boys have less contact with their parents. The relationship between most college students and their parents is healthy, but there are still quite a few boys who will not communicate with their parents actively.
