It has basically formed a three-dimensional traffic pattern of "five in one" of expressways, railways, aviation, shipping and ports, and has become the frontier of two-way opening between China and ASEAN. Baise is a new industrial base in Guangxi, a sanitary city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a national model city with double support and an excellent tourist city in China. It is also a special area integrating old revolutionary base areas, ethnic minority areas, border areas, rocky mountainous areas, poverty-stricken areas and reservoir resettlement areas.
