Development history:
From 1992, IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) put forward some suggestions on Internet address system, and at the end of 1992, a white paper was formed. 1September, 1993, IETF established ad-hoc Next Generation IP Temporary Domain (IPng) to solve the next generation IP problem.
This new field is led by Allison Mankin and Scott Bradner, and its members are composed of 15 engineers from different working backgrounds. IETF adopted the IPng model on July 25th 1994 and established several IPng working groups.
