She Music in She Music
China's first academic monograph on She Nationality's music, Folk Music of She Nationality, was published in Ningde, Fujian, where she nationality lives in compact communities. The publication of this book is of great significance to the research, protection, inheritance and development of She folk music in China. It is the first history of She music in the history of minority music in China, and it is also an important achievement of Ningde cultural and artistic circles in Fujian.

She folk music was created by Jerry Lee, chairman of Ningde Musicians Association and director of the Art Museum. After nearly 20 years' efforts, she music has been comprehensively collected, summarized, combed and expounded. Folk Music of She Nationality is a 520,000-word book, which consists of research and creation.

The research part consists of twenty academic research papers, including Traditional Folk Music of She Nationality in East Fujian, Folk Folk Songs of She Nationality in Ningde, Fujian, Investigation of Music Life of She Nationality in East Fujian and Music History of She Nationality.

The part of "Creation" includes five chorus songs of She folk songs and an instrumental work Capricorn, the hometown of She nationality, composed by Jerry Lee, such as Song of the Source, Song of Crossing the Road and Song of Farewell.

"History of Social Music" won the Silver Award for Cultural Research Achievements of the "Stars Award" of the Ministry of Culture; In 2006, the "Second Tune" of She folk songs was listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
