At present, China Criminal Police College offers Master of Public Administration (MPA), with double certificates and no full-time study. China Criminal Police College was established in May, 1948. Formerly known as Northeast Public Security Cadre School, it is an undergraduate college directly under the Ministry of Public Security. Together with the People's Public Security University of China, it is called the double star of police education in China. This college is a state-level institution of higher learning that trains senior professionals in criminal investigation, criminal science and technology and criminal law. It has been running for 66 years. The college is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, covering an area of 360,000 square meters, with a total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment of nearly 60 million yuan, a library of 630,000 paper books and 580,000 electronic resources. There are 56 specialized laboratories and 15 training ground, which are used for police physical fitness, police tactics, simulated crime scene, simulated interrogation and simulated trial teaching. Northeast Asia Drug Research Center, Crime Countermeasure Research Center and Contemporary Crime Threat Research Institute, and 1 1 research laboratory have been established, including fingerprint display technology, key technology of footprint individual identification, instrument trace inspection technology, file formation time, case voice recognition and identification, forensic video and image technology, physical and chemical inspection of on-site physical evidence, physical and chemical identification of handwriting color mark formation time, in-vivo drug and poison detection technology, forensic pathology, and so on. He has undertaken nearly 200 scientific research projects of the State, the Ministry of Public Security and Liaoning Province. Every year, it undertakes thousands of cases submitted for inspection by public security organs all over the country. The combination of teaching, scientific research and case handling has become a distinctive feature of our school, and it is also an important way for the construction and growth of teachers.

The school has 10 undergraduate majors, including investigation, economic crime investigation, drug control, criminal science and technology, public security audio-visual technology, information security, forensic medicine, public security science, public security informatics, police dog technology and so on. It has three first-class disciplines of law, public security science and public security technology, five two disciplines of criminal law, procedural law, analytical chemistry, computer application technology and forensic medicine, and two professional degrees of master of law and master of police. There are more than 700 faculty members, including 86 professors and over 0/00 associate professors. There are about 5,000 undergraduates and more than 300 graduate students, and the annual training scale of on-the-job police is 4,000-5,000. In addition, correspondence stations have been established in 26 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country, with more than 6,000 on-the-job public security correspondence students.

The postgraduate training mode of public security management is full-time and part-time study, and it is necessary to take the national unified entrance examination for postgraduate students. The writing time of master's thesis (from topic opening to defense) is not less than half a year. After completing the prescribed learning content within the prescribed learning period, meeting the graduation requirements and passing the thesis defense, the corresponding professional graduation certificate and degree will be awarded.
