Our school achieved good results in the 5th Pudong New Area Student Art Festival in 2009. In this art festival, our school participated in all the projects and benefited a lot from each competition.

In June this year, under the personal leadership of Song Liang, director of the Political and Educational Affairs Office, our school's folk band, wind band, dance team and chorus also participated in the special performance of the 5th Student Art Festival in Pudong New Area. Among them, the dance "Youth Like Fire" directed by teacher Nishino won the first prize of dance; The drama "Legend of the White Snake" directed by teacher Fei Xiaoying won the first prize of drama; Teacher Liu Sultan's group singing "Cusco Mail Car" won the first prize in the vocal group; The quartet "Lonely Shepherd" directed by Sudan Liu won the second prize in vocal music group; The chorus "Snowball Flower" and "Our own Song" directed by Teacher Liu Sultan won the third prize in chorus; The wind ensemble Chang Huan conducted by Mr. Hua Wei won the third prize; Liu Sultan's folk music ensemble "Purple Bamboo Tune" won the third prize; Teacher Chen Qiuxiang's artistic thesis "On Portfolio Evaluation of Art Teaching" and teacher Liu Sultan's artistic thesis "Thinking under the New Music Curriculum" won the third prize in the Art Festival Paper Competition; Teacher Nishino, teacher Fei Xiaoying, teacher Liu Sultan and teacher Hua Wei won the Excellent Guidance Award of Pudong New Area Art Festival.
