Qixia Mountain is full of historical sites, beautiful mountain scenery and profound cultural heritage, and is known as "a Qixia Mountain, half the history of Jinling". In history, there were five kings and fourteen emperors who climbed Qixia Mountain. Among them, Emperor Qianlong went to Jiangnan six times and stayed in Qixia Mountain five times. There are three national cultural relics protection units, several provincial and municipal cultural relics protection units and more than 80 historical sites in the scenic spot. It integrates religious culture, imperial culture, green culture, celebrity culture, geological culture, stone carving culture and tea culture. Dangerous peaks, strange rocks, famous springs, deep streams, pines, cypresses, peach blossoms and red leaves in the mountains are integrated into one, which is natural. Sui Buddha Pagoda, Tang Ming Zheng Jun Monument, Thousand Buddha Cave, Wang Yu Monument, Qianlong Palace, Wansongshan House, Prajna Paramita, Taixu Pavilion, Huashan Pavilion, Lu Yu Teahouse, etc. The Millennium Temple, the ancestral home of Buddhism's "Three Theories" and Qixia Temple, one of Buddhism's "Four Jungles", is located at the foot of Qixia Mountain, with melodious sound, morning bells and drums, just like a fairyland on earth.
