Douban score: 8.7
This book contains five articles.
1, the first part is related to the time division theory;
2. The second part selects the daily "customs";
3. The third part focuses on the drastic changes in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and discusses the issues of national consciousness and order;
4. The fourth part is the legal history paper related to ownership and trial;
5. The fifth part is a methodological article centered on the study of Japanese China history.
These articles seem to be scattered, but from the author's study and life, they are like branches and leaves growing on the trunk, in which the same concern flows: to understand the social phenomena in Ming and Qing Dynasties according to people's thinking at that time, and to grasp the changes of these social phenomena from a wide perspective with a comparative historical perspective.
