With the rapid development of modern society, sports tourism is more and more accepted by people. Sports tourism is a kind of professional tourism, which is different from ordinary sightseeing, aesthetic and entertainment tourism. It is a form of tourism activities that people take part in and watch sports, or take sports as the main content. It is an important tourism development project at present and has a huge tourism market. Under the concept and classification of sports tourism, this paper analyzes the current situation of sports tourism development, and in view of the present situation and existing problems, combined with China's own advantages in sports tourism resources, puts forward several major countermeasures for the development of sports tourism in China, providing a good theoretical reference for the future development of China's tourism industry.
