Brief introduction of Wu Xingwei
Wu Xingwei, male, chief physician, professor, tutor for master students, born in 1962, graduated from Peking Union Medical College with a master's degree in ophthalmology. 1992 obtained the doctor's degree in ophthalmology, becoming the first doctor in China who integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. 1992- 1994 postdoctoral fellow in visual neurobiology, China academy of sciences. At present, he is a professor of ophthalmology in the First People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University, a tutor for master students, deputy director of Shanghai Institute of Ophthalmology, deputy director of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology, and chief expert of ophthalmology in Shijiazhuang Lianyi Hospital. Academic position: Deputy Head of Ophthalmology Group of Shanghai Branch of Chinese Ophthalmology Society, Head of Ophthalmology Group of Shanghai Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Ophthalmology Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 1995 was selected as the star of Shanghai youth science and technology, and the research results of age-related macular degeneration won Everlyn. 1997 Nickalls Annual Meeting Award of the American International Ophthalmology and Vision Research Association (ARVO). A new technique for testing and analyzing local electroretinogram (LERG) won the first prize in the 200 1 Shanghai Excellent Invention Competition. He has edited and published "Questions about Ophthalmology" and "Ophthalmology Manual of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine".
