From the topic selection, drafting the outline of the topic, completing the first draft and finalizing the draft, I got the careful guidance of Teacher X, which enabled me to quickly master the writing method of the paper and quickly complete the writing of the paper in a short time. I choose the novel Fortress Besieged as the theme of my graduation thesis. On the one hand, I like this novel, including the TV series adapted from this novel. Indeed, Fortress Besieged is a proposition full of philosophy of life and great social significance. It explains to people the turmoil, darkness and morbidness of China society in the 1940s, which made love, marriage and family become "birdcages" and "castles", and implies that only by breaking through the limitations of oneself and the "besieged city" of dark society and combining the fate of individuals with that of the whole nation and country can we have a new way of life. Fortress Besieged is a good work with profound implications and thought-provoking. On the other hand, combined with social reality, many phenomena are similar to the scenes described in Fortress Besieged. I also want to make a little contribution to the society through my writing, to reveal the connection and warn the world to advocate the truth, goodness and beauty of human nature and a rational life.
In this paper, I mainly use the writing techniques of content analysis and reality comparison. Each stage is arranged according to the levels of typical analysis (that is, specific case analysis), concrete comparison of phenomena, warning display, comprehensive discussion and clarification of practical significance. The specific structure is as follows:

The first aspect focuses on two typical cases of Fang Hung-chien, involving two unhealthy phenomena in today's society (namely ignorance and sexual openness) to warn the world. This part uses more words and has a long space. In the second aspect, it comprehensively expounds Fang Hung-chien's ideological character of love, family and career in the social background, aiming to explain that no matter what kind of environment, if he lacks initiative, independent spirit, firm personality and sound personality, he will be easily influenced by the environment and others, and only by putting his own development in the melting pot of social, economic and cultural development can his career succeed; A family, only in a stable and peaceful social environment, can get rid of the heavy pressure of society, and family members can understand each other, and family life will be sincere and free. In the process of completing the outline, I got the detailed guidance from teacher X, further refined my own views and further deepened the observation and analysis of some phenomena in the real society. After the first draft was completed, Mr. X carefully reviewed the full text and corrected some improper words and unclear opinions. After the final formal finalization, Teacher X carefully suggested the printing format of the paper and some matters needing attention.
It is under the guidance of the teacher and my careful study that I found the warning and guiding significance of Fortress Besieged by combining some phenomena in today's social reality. There are quite a few works about Fortress Besieged, but it should be my innovation to determine the research direction through the realistic integration of its characters.
This paper has been completed. Although I am not very satisfied, there are still many places that need to be improved comprehensively. But on the whole, I really learned a lot in the process of writing, further enriching my knowledge and improving my understanding.
