What's wrong with epc lamp and oxygen sensor?
The full name of EPC engine electronic stability system, this indicator light is always on, indicating that the engine and electronic system are faulty. If it is always on or flashing after ignition or during driving, it means that the management system has detected the fault of the engine or electronic system. Please contact the service station immediately. EPC lamp is related to oxygen sensor: 1. There are many cases where the abnormal engine oxygen sensor causes the engine fault light to alarm. The engine oxygen sensor is usually placed near the intake manifold. Due to violent driving or some collisions, the sensor will be displaced or damaged, which will cause the sensor to be abnormal and the fault light will give an alarm. 2. The blockage of the fuel injector and carbon deposition in the intake valve will also cause the engine fault light to give an alarm. Because there will be some impurities in gasoline, which will gather at the injector and affect the injection of the injector, especially in-cylinder direct injection engines, which will directly lead to engine flameout and so on. However, carbon deposit will be produced after impurity combustion, which will affect the normal opening and closing of throttle and the normal operation of engine to a certain extent, leading to warning lights; 3. Another common situation is sensor failure. After a muddy walk, the engine trouble light suddenly turned on, but there was nothing unusual about the car itself. When the car was driven to the 4S shop for inspection, it was found that the sensor of the left front wheel was faulty. As a result, the problem was solved after washing with water and then installing. Abnormal sensor does not mean that there must be something wrong with the vehicle, but there must be something abnormal to pay attention to.
