As mentioned in the notice, starting from this year, we will focus on helping towns and villages in the process of municipal rural revitalization, towns and villages adjacent to Sichuan and Chongqing, famous towns with distinctive landscapes and famous towns with historical culture, and take "one deepening and three upgrading" (deepening comprehensive environmental improvement, improving township functions, improving township quality and improving management level) as the main starting point to carry out the construction of beautiful and livable demonstration towns and villages, and strive to build a link between urban-rural integration and rural revitalization.

According to the target, by 2025, Chongqing will build 30 beautiful and livable demonstration towns with beautiful environment, perfect functions, distinctive features and effective management. There are 17 key towns for rural revitalization at the municipal level, including Henghe Tujia Township in Wanzhou District, Taiji Township in Qianjiang District, Manyue Town in Kaizhou District, Tiemen Township in Liangping District, Canggou Township in Wulong District, Xian Yi Town in Chengkou County, Lizi Township in Fengdu County, Dashi Township in Dianjiang County, Mozi Tujia Township in Zhongxian County, Qingshui Tujia Township in Yunyang County, Hefeng Township in fengjie county, Zhuxian Township in Wushan County and Wufeng Township. Other towns 13, including Wuling Mountain in Fuling District, Changshouhu Town in Changshou District, Zhongshan Town in jiangjin district, Xiaojia Town in Hechuan District, Wu Jian Town in Yongchuan District, Toudu Town in Nanchuan District, Yongxin Town in Qijiang District, Yongxi Town in Dazu District, Yanjiang Town in Bishan District, damiao town Town in Tongliang District, Baolong Town in Tongnan District, Wanling Town in Rongchang District and Jungle Town in Wansheng Economic Development Zone.
