Zhang Xiaowei, 194 1 graduated from the biology department of Soochow University. 1948 Studying in the UK. 195 1 year. In 1950s, we organized and led a comprehensive investigation of Yantai Weihai mackerel fishing ground, found out the changing law of mackerel resources, and made a prediction, which played a good guiding role in production. For the first time in China, more than 10 kinds of marine fish fry were successfully cultivated by means of biological sterilization to purify seawater, light control in pottery pot culture and artificial cultivation of palatable bait, and two kinds of larval bait, rotifer and Artemia, were found, which created conditions for increasing the production of marine fish culture.
