Unit weight of 26 cubic meters slag tank in iron and steel plant
The weight of the slag tank is 10 to 85T. Slag tank is an important steelmaking equipment in metallurgical industry, and it is a container for high-temperature slag produced in iron and steel smelting process. It has a bowl-shaped container with lifting trunnions on both sides, and the weight of the slag tank is 10 to 85T. This pot is a place for tapping iron and slag. Modern blast furnace tapping yard is equipped with mud gun (taphole plugging machine), taphole tapping machine, swinging chute, crane, ladle, slag tank and other equipment. The clay gun was originally pneumatic, but later it was changed to electric. In 1970s, hydraulic clay gun was used, which was small in size, large in thrust, long in service life and easy to maintain. There are two kinds of taphole machines: electric and pneumatic. After the blast furnace molten iron flows into the ladle, it is sent to the steelmaking plant by train. Blast furnaces over 2000 meters use 150~600 tons of hot metal ladle (torpedo mixer), and tap 2~3 cans at a time. The tilt angle of the swing wheel is 1 ~ 4, and the tilt angle of the swing wheel is 3 ~ 6. Modern blast furnace slag is washed in front of the furnace or a dry slag pit is set (see blast furnace slag utilization). Smoke and dust filled the iron yard when tapping. After 1970s, exhaust fans and bag filters were mainly used for dust removal. After recovering lead and zinc, furnace ash can be used as raw material for sintering or pelletizing. Some blast furnaces are also equipped with cast iron machines, including roller type and fixed wheel type, and the cast iron capacity is generally 200~300 tons/hour.
