1. Adjust the spacing size: select the text to be adjusted, click Font Settings in the Start tab, find the character spacing option, and adjust the spacing to "standard" or an appropriate point.
2. Check sentence breaks: If words are separated by automatic sentence breaks, the spacing will be too large. Cancel the automatic sentence breaking function. Select the paragraph you want to adjust, click Paragraph Settings, and uncheck the check box of "Allow western languages to wrap in the middle of words" or "Allow punctuation to overflow the boundary" in the Chinese Layout tab.
3. Use Find and Replace: Use Word's find and replace function to process words with large spacing in batches. Find spaces and replace them with appropriate character spacing.
