Zhong Jingwen (1903 ~ 2002) was born in Haifeng, Guangdong. Famous folk literature and art scholar, folklorist, poet and essayist. One of the founders of China folklore and folk literature and art, he initiated the establishment of China folklore school, and was praised as "the father of China folklore" at home and abroad. He has published nearly 300 papers, mainly collected and published monographs such as Folk Literature, Zhong Jingwen Folk Literature Essay, Zhong Jingwen Academic Essay, and Folk Culture Research. Representative works of prose include Litchi Sketch, Wandering in the West Lake, Notes on the Lake, etc. The collection of poems includes February by the Sea.
