Laboratory Construction of College of Resources and Environmental Sciences, Xinjiang University
The laboratory has completed 44 experimental courses and 176 experimental projects. The existing laboratory area of the laboratory is 1.400 m2, and there are 1.290 sets of equipment, with a total equipment value of 1.265438 million yuan, and the equipment integrity rate is 98%.

Over the years, the laboratory has been composed of a team of teachers with high academic level and rich teaching experience. The team has strong teaching and research innovation ability, high teaching level, active participation in teaching reform, scientific research and social application practice, excellent teaching style, rigorous academic attitude and the spirit of courage to explore and innovate. At present, Professor Liu Zhihui, director of the experimental teaching center, is also the dean of the College of Resources and Environmental Sciences of Xinjiang University. A lot of work has been done in undergraduate specialty reform, new teaching plan formulation, discipline planning and construction, "Project 2 1 1" construction, key laboratory planning and construction, and key course teaching. In recent five years, I have undertaken undergraduate teaching tasks1more than 20 hours. In 2003, he presided over the key discipline project of hydrology in Xinjiang University. In 2008, his work "Early Warning Model of Snowmelt Flood in Xinjiang" won the only second prize in Xinjiang in the national "Challenge Cup" extracurricular academic research works competition for college students. In 2009, he presided over the teaching team of basic geography series in arid areas of Xinjiang University and the teaching reform project of "GIS applied talents training mode and curriculum structure reform and practice" in 2 1 century higher education of Xinjiang University.

In terms of scientific research projects, he has presided over and participated in more than ten scientific research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial levels in the past five years. These include "Research on Decision Support System of Snowmelt Flood Warning" (70361001) (2004.1~ 2006.12) supported by National Natural Science Foundation Project "3S" and "Based on the formation process and mechanism of snowmelt runoff in arid areas" Cultivation fund project "Construction of Monitoring and Early Warning Network System for Slowly Changing Geological Disasters in Arid Areas of Xinjiang" (708090) (2009.1~ 2010.12), training plan for key teachers of the Ministry of Education, and Spring Festival plan. Participate in "973" and "95" key projects 1 respectively. He presided over and participated in four international cooperation projects. He presided over more than a dozen horizontal scientific research projects. He has won five provincial and ministerial awards. More than 80 scientific research papers have been published in domestic and foreign academic journals and international academic conferences, among which "Analysis of Glacier Change in Changji Prefecture of Xinjiang in Recent 40 Years Based on rs and GIS Technology" won the second prize of the Eighth Excellent Academic Paper of the Autonomous Region; . Because of his outstanding contribution to teaching and scientific research, Professor Liu Zhihui won the first prize of a famous teacher in Xinjiang Autonomous Region in 2005 and an excellent teacher in Baosteel in 2006.

The laboratory structure is reasonable, and the teaching work is organized by taking the laboratory as the unit. Each experimental course has a teaching and research group, namely "class group", with young teachers as the backbone and relatively stable professional and technical personnel. At present, an experimental course team has been formed, including hydrology and hydrochemistry teams with Professor Liu Zhihui as the core. Geographical information system and econometric geography team with Professor Wahaf as the core; Botanical team with Professor Nurbayi as the core; Soil science team with Dr. Zhang Feng as the core. These teams are not only committed to the reform and construction of experimental teaching, but also actively engaged in scientific research, closely combining scientific research results with experimental courses, with remarkable results. Liu Zhihui's team is characterized by combining the experimental teaching of undergraduates with the scientific research work of the Key Laboratory of Oasis Ecological Education Department, encouraging young and middle-aged teachers to actively reform the experimental content and apply the scientific research results to the experimental teaching. For example, when doing water quality analysis, hydrochemistry practice and experiment, students can not only complete the experimental content, but also learn something about the teacher's scientific research work with the help of some theories and models obtained from their experimental teacher's scientific research project. The characteristic of Wahaf and Ding Jianli's team is to provide the first-hand data collected by field investigation to undergraduates, and use real data, thematic maps and historical data in the experiment to guide students to complete the expansion plan and campus plan of the south campus of Xinjiang University. Each student completes an academic paper of 3000-5000 words through the practice of GIS and econometrics. The characteristic of Nurbayi team is to conduct in-depth research on Xinjiang characteristic plants and establish a herbarium of Xinjiang characteristic vegetation plants, which has been approved by UNESCO for the record. Research papers written by undergraduates under the guidance of Professor Nurbayi, such as Vegetation Research in Ebinur Lake Basin and Gentianaceae Research in Xinjiang, have been published in domestic core journals.
