1, in the journey of life, there is one thing that will always accompany us, and that is reading. It is like a bright lamp, illuminating my way forward; It's like a key to my wisdom. It can be said that my growth is wonderful because of reading.
I like reading since I was a child. I remember when I was a child, I used to lie in bed and listen to my mother tell those fairy tales. Although I couldn't read at that time, I felt the good, evil, beauty and ugliness in the story through my mother's story. These stories, like seeds, are deeply buried in my heart.
As I grew older, I began to like those imaginative story books, such as Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. These books make me feel that I am in a fantastic world, and I have experienced those thrilling adventures with the protagonist. At the same time, I also learned the qualities of courage and perseverance from these books.
Besides story books, I also like reading popular science books and history books. Popular science books let me know the mysteries of nature and stimulate my interest in science; History books let me travel through time and space and appreciate the glory of those ancient civilizations.
