Under the guidance of the National Network Information Office, Weibo Platform actively implemented the "Clear and White" series of special action requirements in 2022, and increased the punishment for cyber violence. 6. Attacking sexual harassment: In special scenes, although insulting and offensive words are not used, the content of yin and yang teachers, malicious teasing, etc. It will cause offence and harassment to others.

From June to March, 2022, 65,438 Weibo handled many incidents, such as attacking athletes' performance during the Winter Olympics, publishing offensive remarks in the form of proposals during the two sessions, revealing others' privacy during the epidemic, * * * cleaning up more than 330,000 illegal contents, and disposing of more than15,000 accounts.

On March 23rd, Weibo launched the online comment area "Friendly comment, civilized speech" to guide and remind users whose comments have been deleted or complained many times recently. On April 14, the "one-button protection" function in Weibo was fully opened to all users in the station, and users in Weibo could take the initiative to open it when they were attacked by speech. During the testing phase, more than 60,000 netizens experienced related functions, effectively reducing the risk of being attacked by voice.

In the announcement, Weibo called on netizens to express their opinions objectively and rationally on the online platform, not to create and spread rumors, and not to make comments that attack others and reveal privacy. If illegal content of cyber violence is found, users can report it through the front desk reporting complaint portal and @ Weibo administrator, and Weibo will accept and dispose of it in time. The station will actively cooperate with relevant departments and resolutely crack down on suspected illegal and criminal acts.
