1. Introduction to "China Library of Linguists"

"China Linguist Library" is a library dedicated to collecting, sorting out and preserving the works of China linguists. There are two purposes to establish a database: one is to concentrate information so that more readers can learn and study in depth; The second is to use these materials to promote Chinese to the world and let China linguists go abroad.

The selection scope of China Linguistics Library is divided into four categories: (1) researchers engaged in language research, including theoretical research and applied research; (2) researchers engaged in Chinese research and teaching; (3) researchers engaged in the research and teaching of minority languages; (4) researchers engaged in foreign language research and teaching.

China Linguistics Library is the library of linguists all over China. This includes Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong, Macau and even overseas Chinese. 2. Introduction of "Computer Retrieval System of World Chinese Teaching Literature Database"

"Development and Establishment of Computer Retrieval System of World Chinese Teaching Literature Database" (hereinafter referred to as "Computer Retrieval System") is the second batch of youth special research fund projects undertaken by Beijing Language Institute (Social Science Department of Education Commission [1990] No.21). In recent years, with the strong support of leaders at all levels in beijing language and culture university and the Academic Exchange Office of the Office of the National Leading Group for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, and with the efforts of all the comrades in the research group, the "World Chinese Teaching Literature Database Computer Retrieval System" passed the appraisal and was put into use on June 1995.

"Computer Inspection System" adopts GB290 1-8X "China Public Exchange Format" CCFC, GB792.2-85 "Description Rules for Ordinary Books" and other national standards and international standards, with a high degree of standardization. The system structure is scientific and reasonable, and the supporting facilities are complete. The project development process is clear, and the objectives of each subsystem are clear. From document collection to processing, a set of normative documents has been formulated, which effectively ensures the data quality. And established and improved the document disclosure system of "World Chinese Teaching". The Thesaurus of World Chinese Teaching Topics and the Classification Table of World Chinese Teaching Topics have been compiled, which makes the retrieval language tools become a complete system in its document information processing. Among them, World Literature on Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language won the second prize of National Excellent Scientific Research Achievements in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language 1988- 1992 by the Office of the National Leading Group for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. This system can quickly provide all original services of beijing language and culture university Library, and at the same time provide document catalogue search, thus forming a perfect document guarantee system.

The system can realize the computer retrieval of subject, classification, title and author in 16 different ways and functions. It can generate machine-readable catalogue in CCFC or ISO2709 standard format for data exchange at home and abroad.

The system has high automatic processing function. It can be applied to various microcomputers, which is convenient for system transplantation and popularization. The system realizes data verification and code conversion of some recorded items. An automatic generation module of upper-level login thesaurus (post-controlled thesaurus) can be provided. The database has friendly operation interface, convenient use and simple maintenance.

The development of this system has changed the traditional mode of information processing of Chinese teaching literature in the world. In the field of Chinese teaching in the world, it has remarkable social benefits such as topic selection demonstration, talent demonstration, rational use of scientific research funds and macro-control of development planning. It has laid a foundation for realizing the automation, networking, integration and internationalization of the information processing of the world literature on Chinese teaching and research, and promoting extensive exchanges in the field of Chinese teaching and research at home and abroad.

The system has the ability of continuous updating, production and exchange of literature data, high degree of standardization, reasonable structure, complete matching, fast retrieval speed, convenience and practicality. The development of this project has filled the gap in the field of world Chinese teaching and modern Chinese research.

3. Instructions for using the database for teaching Chinese as a foreign language

(1). The database of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is jointly developed by the Office of the National Leading Group for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and beijing language and culture university Library. It is a special database for teaching Chinese as a foreign language with a certain scale and literature guarantee.

(2) The data in the main database is collected from 1864 "Introduction to Chinese in China" published in London, 1886 "Chinese Anthology" published in Shanghai to all the teaching materials that can be collected since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

(3) The data in the main database can be divided into simple data and comprehensive data. Simple data is a simple form that provides basic information of teaching materials. There are 667 kinds of existing materials, mainly textbooks since 1950, but no textbooks before 1949 are included for the time being. It is expected that a batch of data will be entered before March 2002, and the textbooks before 1949 will be used as rare books. Comprehensive materials include the original cover, preface, preface, explanation and content of the textbook, including Chinese and foreign languages, as well as the original texts of the first lesson and the last lesson of the textbook. Some textbooks have expert comments, which provide an intuitive and detailed introduction to the textbooks. It is estimated that some data will be released on June 5438+0+February 15, 2006.

(4) The foreign textbook library refers to the textbooks published abroad for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Originally planned as the second batch of projects, it is now planned to enter a batch of English textbooks collected by our library before April 2002, and other languages are the second batch of projects.

(5) The textbook catalog database is a supplement to the main database, which means that we have learned the textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language from formal channels, but we can't collect the original books and we don't know the storage unit of the books. It is expected to open before May 2002.

(6) Submitting textbooks to our library is also a supplement to the textbook information of the main library, which is made to provide textbook information for scholars or users, including: 1) textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language that the author is currently compiling but has not yet been officially published; Or the teaching materials to learn Chinese as a foreign language. 2) Information of teaching materials of Chinese as a foreign language not included in this database.
