1) In the classroom teaching of printmaking, students must be guided to learn the basic theories and techniques of printmaking in an all-round way, so that they can master the creative methods of printmaking and create printmaking works with a certain level. Paper prints are prints with paper as the plate. It is a unique artistic language formed by paper cutting, collage and rubbings. It is artistic and widely practical.
2) Let students know and master the tools and materials of printmaking. Knives mainly use scissors or scissors hands, and sometimes it is ok to tear paper by hand in pursuit of special artistic effects. Paper should be made of fibers with good tensile strength and density, such as horse manure paper, white cardboard, coated paper, blow-molded paper, cartons, old calendars, etc. Paper rubbing should use thin and tough leather paper, cotton paper, rice paper, etc. Generally, latex is used for bonding cardboard, and printmaking ink is used for rubbing. Watermark color can be traditional Chinese painting color, water pink, watercolor, and rubbed with logs or rubber sticks.
3) the steps of making paper prints.
(1) engraved paper plate. Instruct students to draw a sketch on flat paper, and cut off the unnecessary parts with a knife according to the sketch requirements. After the engraving is completed, it can be printed with ink. This form of master is a whole piece.
(2) cardboard. Instruct students to carefully design and draw patterns on thick paper and blow-molded paper, then press the circuit board along the patterns on thick paper, blow-molded paper and soft thick paper with hard instruments, and then print ink on cardboard to make printed matter.
③ Collage edition. The layout of the collage is not flat, but embossed graphics. This picture form has high and low level changes, which is very suitable for students to study, think and create. Here are the specific steps.
Draft. Give full consideration to drawing patterns on flat paper, and at the same time consider collage and final effect.
Cutting and carving. Carve hard according to the figure, and pay attention to leave room when carving, especially the overlapping part.
Collage, there are two main methods. One is the butt joint method, that is, the cut pieces of paper are butted together according to lines and collaged on a plane. This paste method is often used at the bottom of the layout. The second method is superposition, that is, collage and paste 3 ~ 4 layers to show the effect and object.
Layout rubbing first put the pasted layout on the desktop, roll the ink with glue from shallow to deep, then cover it with rubbing paper, press the layout and rubbing paper with your fingers, roll it on the surface with a round stick, and take out the rubbing paper to get a paper print.
Through the teaching of the above compulsory courses, students have basically mastered the basic creation of paper prints and can create paper prints. However, in order to create excellent paper prints, we need to spend more time on elective study, extracurricular activities training and educational practice application, so as to truly create and apply them in future educational and teaching activities and social practice.
2. Do a good job in extracurricular activities
Extracurricular activities are an integral part of art teaching and a necessary supplement to classroom teaching. Its content selection focuses on enriching students' art knowledge, developing students' personality and specialty, cultivating students' practical and creative ability, improving students' interest in art, and organizing extracurricular activities flexibly and in various forms. The extracurricular activities of printmaking must be carried out in a planned, organized and purposeful way. Through multi-angle and multi-channel skills training and display, students' creative level, appreciation ability and application ability can be improved.
First of all, organize students to actively participate in extracurricular activities of printmaking. In the activities, students exchange ideas with each other, learn from each other's strengths, give full play to their strengths, reflect their individuality, make progress together and create excellent works.
Secondly, students' excellent works are displayed through activities, which can improve their learning enthusiasm, enhance their sense of innovation, competition and honor, and at the same time award outstanding works in a certain order.
Finally, collect some excellent printmaking works, especially those with individuality and characteristics, and provide samples for future students to visit and study.
3. Do a good job in practical activities
Practical activities are an integral part of teaching activities and the main way to experience students' artistic ability. In practice, we provide students with opportunities to apply their learned art knowledge and skills to cultural propaganda, art exhibitions, campus cultural construction, running blackboard newspapers and beautifying the environment, so that students can exercise their studies and show their learning results, thus achieving the effect of encouraging students to study hard.
Generally speaking, through the above three aspects of printmaking teaching activities, while guiding students to learn printmaking, organizing students to apply what they have learned and mastered to extracurricular activities and social practice will effectively improve the quality of printmaking education and teaching, so that students' comprehensive quality will be improved in an all-round way.
