Five selected essays on reading Thunderstorm, 1000 words.
Thunderstorm is a great tragedy of life and a cruel trick of fate. There is no doubt that the play is a success. The characters are plump and the story is tortuous, which shows their own characteristics in conflict handling. It can be said that Thunderstorm is really a brilliant work.

Reading after thunderstorm 1

The most difficult text is drama. No, this semester is over. I just took the first unit of compulsory 4. Every time I read Dou Eyuan, I feel shocked and admired. When I read Thunderstorm, I felt scared and confused.

It is said that Cao Yu was only twenty-three years old when he wrote this classic and immortal masterpiece Thunderstorm. I guess it was his youthful spirit that gave him such bold and enthusiastic ideas about this story. What a coincidence: Zhou Puyuan and Mei Shiping meet for the second time, and the next generation repeats the emotional story of the previous generation, while Zhou Puyuan, a successful social person, has such a miserable family! Does the author want to highlight the theme of "the tragedy of fate"? But this tragedy is too heavy. Four young people and three died on the spot, leaving only a reckless and unwise Lu Dahai. Lu Shiping and Fan Yi are both crazy, and the unexpected emotional entanglements of young people instantly shattered the kingdom that Zhou Puyuan has worked so hard to build for decades. Zhou Puyuan can control his career and society, but he can't control his family life? Especially love life? This is because both career and society are material and are controlled by wisdom regularly, but emotion is not? Is this the tragic fate of Zhou Puyuan?

Many years ago, I heard of Thunderstorm, but I didn't go to see it because of my preference for novels. Later, I learned the play. Although it is short and the relationship between characters is complicated, there are many intriguing places.

Sifeng is undoubtedly unfortunate. In her position, she fell in love with the owner of her master's house, which was not allowed at that time. And his drought-striken fields and stepmother Fan Yi incest, Fan Yi will not easily let go of his drought-striken fields. Besides, she has to face the pursuit from Zhou Chong, and can't make a decision not to hurt him. Finally, she learned from her mother that she and Zhou Ping were actually half-brothers. This is undoubtedly a bolt from the blue, what's more, she is pregnant with Zhou Ping's child. And the ending left her with an electric shock, and the young life ended like this. Lucky or unlucky? In my opinion, this is a good ending for her. Compared with these complicated relationships and various pressures, her future must be a thorny road, not to mention no way to go. Zhou has always been a gentleman, and he is a cowardly man without perseverance. I don't think he can leave his family and give Sifeng happiness.

Lu Shiping is miserable. Since she once gave birth to two sons for Zhou Puyuan, her devotion should not be false, but in the end, she could only be driven out of the house with her three-day-old son. After that, she should have hated Zhou Puyuan for a long time. When she learned that her daughter was working as a domestic helper in Zhou Jia, she felt that it was fate, and she felt that she owed them Zhou Jia. There is a strong sense of feudalism here, and inferior ethnic groups have always been in a lower position. When she knows that her daughter is in love with her son, she will be really surprised and more regretful. Of course, what is indispensable is heartache, not recognizing my son, and being begged by two children. She can't reconcile the contradiction between her eldest son Zhou Ping and her son Lu Dahai, which is the contradiction between the two classes. She is just a poor person with no status. She is a typical representative of the lowest-class women of that era.

Zhou Puyuan is a villain. Many people say he is hypocritical. In the face of Shi Ping, who hasn't seen her for 30 years, the first sentence is to ask her what she is doing here, and also hope to use money to let Sifeng leave, and ask her to promise not to get acquainted with her son. He also specially told Shi Ping that the decoration in the room was still the same as in those days, in order to miss her. But I think nostalgia should be true. Because, if he had no real feelings for Shi Ping, he could have kept everything the same. If he fell in love with his wife, then Fan Yi would not have incest with his drought-striken fields. In addition, he ordered his servant to call his mother the first lady. I don't think he has forgotten Shi Ping for so many years. Although his behavior was cowardly at that time, it was determined by the social environment at that time. At that time, he was just a young master with no rights, and everything naturally obeyed his parents. This is also the traditional filial piety of China people, which should not be criticized excessively.

Many people like Fan Yi, saying that she is a bourgeois woman who was liberated after the May 4th Movement. She is an anti-feudal autocratic personality liberation color, and she illuminates all darkness and evil. I think these labels are too bright! Bing Xin, Ding Ling, Lin and other new women in the May 4th Movement took it as their responsibility to create a new era. Compared with them, Fan Yi is different from dew and stars! Even the women in Self-protection, Liu Lanzhi and Fan Yi are not worthy to compare with them! Fan Yi has no thoughts, only one realizes that she is a woman. She depends on Zhou Puyuan's material, and she longs for his drought-striken fields' sex and his drought-striken fields' love? That's an excuse! Even Lin Daiyu and Jia Baoyu have the same interests and pursuits. Fan Yi and Zhou Ping only live under one roof. Fan Yi is at least five years older than his drought-striken fields. When she married Zhou Puyuan at the age of 0/8, Zhou Ping was still a child, and she dared to do things related to prisoners. Feudal women dare not, and bourgeois new women are even more dismissive.

Let's talk about Fan Yi's resistance: once you take the medicine, once Zhou Puyuan asks you to see a doctor. This kind of housework, which is not trivial, can only be called willful nonsense. If you can deal with the medicine earlier, how could Zhou Puyuan find out that you didn't drink it? What kind of resistance is it for a doctor who is regarded as sick to be invited home but not to see him? Besides, even Zhou Puyuan has to worry about these things. Fan Yi's imbecility is obvious! To put it bluntly, from Freud's point of view, Fan Yi was playing with cats and telling lies in front of Zhou Puyuan. Then two so-called rebellions, more like psychopaths, accelerated the downfall of Zhou Puyuan.

It can be said that Zhou Puyuan's tragedy is the tragedy of marriage. Fan Yi is an ignorant, incompetent and immoral woman. She can't see any age and social factors, and evil and darkness are concentrated on her. This kind of woman will destroy Zhou Puyuan sooner or later. She is the backbone of the author's story building. Without her, the story cannot be constructed and shaped, but she has no typical significance at all.

In addition, Zhou Puyuan's image is too funny, "telling the police to kill 30 workers in the mine" and "deliberately telling the riverbank to escape and drowning 2,200 coolies". His appearance in Zhoufu seems to be similar to the story 30 years ago and today 30 years later. And a man with a strong feudal paternalism like him turned a blind eye to Zhou Ping's marriage in his thirties.

Thoughts on Reading Thunderstorm II

In order to guide students' graduation thesis, I reread Mr. Cao Yu's play Thunderstorm. This is not an easy reading process. The script is not long and there are not many characters. Slowly unfold the script, sink down and read it slowly. Eighty years ago, old Shanghai, that hot summer, an old house, two generations suffered a thunderstorm of fate in the underworld. A moment's agitation releases the grudges that have been sealed for 20 years and opens a half-life confession.

Lost in meditation, I have a lot of feelings and seem to have learned something, but I can't say anything new.

Most people who like Thunderstorm like to talk about the main characters of the older generation: the incarnation of Thunderstorm, the initiator of evil and the contradictory mother. They occupied most of the stage and attracted most people's attention. In particular, Zhou, a woman who makes people love and hate, is the central figure that many students like to discuss.

I watched it again and again and felt it again and again. Behind the glory of the protagonist, I began to pay more and more attention to two young people: Sifeng and Zhou Chong. I feel the fate of these two young people and their fantastic youth more and more.

After reading the script, I often think of a sentence: character is fate. In this tragedy, cowardice leads to suicide, forbearance leads to a silent mental patient, outbreak leads to a manic mental patient, and tenacity (admittedly this is a trait) leads to the only rational person after this disaster. Two young people, two young people full of dreams for the future (although their dreams are in very different directions, it is undeniable that they are both young people with dreams), Sifeng and Zhou Chong all fell on that thunderstorm night. Accidental? Is it inevitable?

Among all the disturbances around the Zhou government, it seems that only the young people are outside the secular world. He is naive, cheerful, sunny, inexperienced, scheming, hesitant and determined. Sometimes when I look at the script, I really wonder, how did Zhou Mansion get out of this gloomy big house? ! The stage cue describes him like this: "He is very young, but he has a big heart and all childlike fantasies. He is very young, only seventeen. He fantasized about many impossible things. He is living a beautiful dream. " Really, this is a child living in a dream. Dreams are beautiful, but once you wake up, it's time to go.

Zhou Chong was awakened by her hysterical mother in a daze. At that moment, Zhou Chong suddenly found that his mother is no longer a mother, his father is no longer a father, his brother is no longer a brother, and his lover is no longer a lover. After waking up, Zhou, who had no escape, rushed into a thunderstorm. Perhaps death is his most peaceful and eternal dream.

Someone once called Zhou Chong in Thunderstorm a midsummer night's dream. Sweet, warm and short, it was finally swept away by the thunderstorm in summer night.

What moved me most about reading Thunderstorm was not the recognition of Zhou Puyuan and Lu Shiping after 20 years, nor the outbreak when all the truth came out, but Zhou Chong's confession to Sifeng:

"Sometimes I forget the present, forget my home, forget you, forget my mother and forget myself. I think, I am like a small sailboat as light as a petrel in a very bright sky and on the vast sea on a winter morning. When the sea breeze blows tightly and the sea air smells fishy and salty, white sails are all over the ground, flying obliquely on the sea like the wings of an eagle, flying towards the horizon. At that time, only two or three white clouds were floating faintly on the horizon. We sit at the bow and look ahead. That's our world. "

"By the way, I am with you, and we can fly to a really clean and happy place, where there is no dispute, hypocrisy, inequality, and no (head tilted slightly, as if there is such a place in front of us, suddenly). What do you say? "

Such a pure heart, naked dedication in front of Sifeng, can't attract Sifeng's eyes puzzled by the world. Sifeng couldn't feel it, but I vaguely heard the sound of a broken crystal heart.

However, I can't blame Sifeng. I can't blame this 17-year-old girl from the perspective of Mr. Morality. I always feel that I can't simply say that she is secular or snobbish.

Lu Sifeng, a girl of seventeen or eighteen, is healthy, sincere and loves to laugh. She knows that she looks good when she smiles. My mother is not around, and my father is an alcoholic, gambler and snob, who works as a maid in Zhoufu. There is no denying that it is probably such wishful thinking to take her into Zhou Fu. It really just happened. Although Sifeng thinks everything is silent, what happened to escape Gui Lu's shrewd Zuiyan? Sifeng knows nothing about women's liberation, human rights, labor exploitation and so on. She just wants to get her own happiness down to earth. We Taoist gentlemen, from the perspective of this child's growth, design a future for her. Is there a better way to free yourself once and for all than to get the love of the young master? Especially this young master looks so sincere and attached to her. What other choice does she have? Is she wrong? Is she wrong enough to pay the price of her life?

Gui Lu needs his daughter to be attached to the phoenix.

Zhou Ping needs a sincere heart to give him the power to get rid of love.

Sifeng needs to get the greatest affirmation of her life from Cinderella's story.

So, with the girl's pink dream, Sifeng persistently embarked on her mother's old road.

The tragedy is irreversible.

It is Sifeng's regret to miss Zhou Chong's crystal pure heart. From an outsider's point of view, we all saw that there were too many things other than love in Zhou Ping's eyes staring at Sifeng, and only she could not see them.

Be practical. Lu Xun pointed out to us very sharply and cruelly that what happened after Nora left was nothing more than coming back or falling. It is always a painful thing to fall from the paradise of dreams to the ground of reality. Let's imagine. If Sifeng was lucky enough to escape the thunderstorm and successfully eloped with Zhou Ping without knowing her brother and sister's love, would she really be happy? There are always amazing coincidences in history. This single-minded love of the four phoenixes is the life-saving straw for Zhou Ping to get rid of her stepmother's abnormal love. Regardless of the identity gap, this is a completely unequal love. When we get rid of Zhou's threat and the economic crisis of survival is in front of us, we can't help sighing for Sifeng's tomorrow.

Lu Shiping spent twenty years of suffering and half her life waiting in silence to pay for her dream when she was young.

Lu Sifeng ended her dream of youth with her life.

On a thunderstorm night, under the bright lights of Zhou Mansion, everything was distorted. Sifeng, who was scared by the truth and had no way out, rushed into the dark night. Death spread its wings and took the young man and the young dreamer Zhou Chong.

Let's go. Reality can't tolerate them.

Leave that dreamy youth.

Reflections on Reading 3 of Thunderstorm

I saw Cao Yu's masterpiece Thunderstorm yesterday. This is the first time that I have read a script completely. I remember watching the clip of White-haired Girl. At that time, I just thought the script was difficult to understand. Now I know that the theme of the script is also very attractive as long as I read it with my heart.

Cao Yu once said: "I lost my mother since I was a child, and my heart is very lonely." This sentence let me know that his life is not smooth sailing. This also makes me more convinced that it is these painful experiences that make him produce great works, and the desire he tells comes from the suffering he suffered in life.

Thunderstorm describes the collapse of a big family. Zhou Puyuan is the ruler of this big feudal family and a capitalist. His wife Fan Yi was depressed and had an affair with her stepson Zhou Ping. Zhou Ping was influenced by bourgeois democratic thoughts, but he lacked the courage to resist and was timid and selfish. He wanted to get rid of this nondescript relationship with his stepmother and fell in love with Sifeng, a young handmaid, and Zhou Chong, the son of Fan Yi, also fell in love with Sifeng. Out of jealousy, Fan Yi informed Sifeng's mother Shi Ping to take Sifeng away. Shi Ping is a girl who was abandoned after Zhou Puyuan tricked her into giving birth to two sons 30 years ago. She is the biological mother of Zhou Ping, and her second son, Lu Dahai, works in a coal mine in Zhou Puyuan. As a representative of the striking workers, he had a face-to-face struggle with Zhou Puyuan. These contradictions are brewing and intensifying, and finally reach a climax in the afternoon when "the weather is darker and hotter, and the low-humidity air makes people extremely upset". Zhou Ping and Sifeng finally knew that they were the same mother and brother, and the tragedy happened: Sifeng was electrocuted. The sinful family collapsed.

I've also seen human thunderstorms. From then until now, I have been amazed at master Cao Yu's mastery of drama. He skillfully condensed the decades-old grievances of a big family into four scenes and two scenes a day. The concentrated place and time show not thinness, but deformed love, courage to break through the bondage, indifference to human feelings, firm belief in the world and pain of fate. Around the eight characters, I see the whole society. At the same time, I also vividly saw the characteristics of drama as a literary theme. As a classic, this play is really worth reading by every literary lover.

Cao Yu once said: "The theme of Thunderstorm is not about moral corruption and incest, nor about karma. Thunderstorm is about a kind of emotion, which is the fermentation of emotion. The surging emotions pushed me to denigrate China's family and society. Thunderstorm shows what I think is the cruelty of the universe. I believe that there is a master behind this cosmic struggle. " I can understand that the author does not have a clear theme in his creation, but instinctively uses his own feelings to talk and express a world.

There is no doubt that I saw a sinful society, a dangerous dark society. But this is also more of a feeling of the world, not just in a certain historical period, which is why I still have understanding rather than sympathy when I look at it in this era. The family and society he represents give me a feeling that there is no way out. His drought-striken fields, Sifeng, Zhou Chong and Fan Yi always seem to want to escape from all this. They want to leave, get rid of and conquer. However, their pain has no way out, and they struggle repeatedly, and even death becomes the only relief. Yes, that society, that life didn't give them freedom, and all the hopes were like a faint fog, which could not really be reached. They can't stand it on the way to explore the truth. I think it's just a helpless beauty. 1977, when Cao Yu wrote the postscript for his works, he said, "Today, there must be many shortcomings and fallacies." Then he talked about not writing proletarian figures and not pointing out the direction of the revolution. I beg to differ, but there must be some pain that transcends the times and classes.

From the conflict between Zhou and Lu, we can see the conflict between the upper class and the lower class. Shi Ping and four winds are typical of two generations of working women in old China. But at the same time, they are so limited that their weakness often leads to their tragic fate. This is also the misfortune given to women by an era. The world didn't tell them they could resist. Shi Ping endured so many misfortunes, but only thought it was her own fault and was willing to bear all the pain in her heart. I think maybe she should make her psychological burden less, instead of suffering the tragedy caused by society alone.

I think there is still a certain fatalism in it, and many things are attributed to fate. I don't think there is anything wrong with this, nor does it affect the profundity of the work. Of course, I don't think there is any karma in the world. But it is in this way that the sadness given to a group of people by society and family can be fully displayed. They can indeed look for real light in the dark, but it is too difficult for them.

Zhou Puyuan is a new capitalist image, which has both bourgeois freedom and equality and feudal autocracy. His personality characteristics are mainly manifested through his relationship with two female images, Shi Ping and Fan Yi, and with Lu Dahai. When Zhou Puyuan was young, he was also a young man influenced by new ideas. He wanted to break away from the shackles of feudal families and pursue the ideal of free love and marriage. So his love for Shi Ping is sincere, but there is also a cowardly side in his character. He could not completely break away from his own class, and finally returned to the feudal camp, betraying Shi Ping and his own ideals.

Yi Fan is a very different person. In a woman who is injured or even almost abnormal, I vaguely see her pure love as a young man. Fan Yi, like Zhou Puyuan, is a combination of old and new cultures. She longed for free love, could not get rid of the cage of her family, and was willing to be humiliated by Zhou Puyuan. Fan Yi fell in love with the gentleman born by her husband's ex-wife, looking for her only lover in the unlovable; This is wrong love, painful love and deep love. She is a person who is tortured by love but has no way out. If love becomes a luxury, then her happiness will be questioned. Maybe this is also her abnormal revenge for her disrespect for her husband and herself.

In that dark society, people's personalities have been distorted. Reminds me of a sentence: love and pity are both sins.

Reflections on Reading 4 of Thunderstorm

The question "What is true love in feudal society" in Thunderstorm lingered in my mind for a long time. Why is the ending of the story so sad? It can only be said that the initiative is a tragedy if the old feudal family does not change their minds.

As a capitalist in the old society, Zhou Puyuan was a typical representative of feudal families. Words and deeds show that businessmen are mercenary and cunning. If he hadn't abandoned it, Lu's four phoenixes wouldn't have appeared, his two relationships wouldn't have happened, and the tragedy wouldn't have happened. But reality is not allowed to exist. In fact, it was because of his greed and ruthlessness that he did everything that led to the tragedy. But in the end, Lu Sifeng, Zhou Chong and his drought-striken fields died, Lu Shiping and Fan Yi went crazy, and Lu Dahai disappeared, but he was intact. But we know, in fact, he lost everything.

After watching Thunderstorm, many people will have a question: Does Zhou Puyuan really love Lu Shiping? From the old furniture I have been carrying with me to the old shirts I have worn for decades, we can see that Zhou Puyuan loves Lu Shiping, but that kind of love only exists in young Lu Shiping, that is, Park Yuan loves the beautiful and gentle Shi Ping he remembers more than 30 years ago, not the woman who appeared in front of him. What Zhou Puyuan expected was the "most complete and orderly" family, but in fact it was an ugly and chaotic family. His wife, Fan Yi, has a bad relationship with him. She is tit for tat with him everywhere and has an affair with her eldest son, Zhou Ping. The second son is respectful to him on the surface, but in fact he is respectful and afraid, and he is unwilling to have more contact with him. In this family, Zhou Puyuan has the dignity of his parents, but he can't enjoy the true feelings between husband and wife and father and son. So that Shi Ping naturally became his emotional support. All he did was to fill his empty heart. When Shi Ping, whom he missed, appeared in front of him, he panicked, and the snobbery and cunning of capitalists were undoubtedly exposed. He thought Shi Ping would blackmail him, fearing that Shi Ping would settle old scores with him and that his reputation and property would be threatened. In this way, two completely different attitudes, one after the other, exposed his true colors, and his distinctive personality surfaced.

After reading this book, what impressed me most was Fan Yi, a woman who dared to love and hate. Her madness was her only fate, because her personality was out of tune with the society at that time. A woman who has the courage to pursue true love can only go crazy after losing all hope. Maybe this is her best ending. I feel sorry for her, too. Both men abandoned her. And she just bumped into her self-righteous love without a clue. Perhaps this is her only ending, but also because the author pities her. Indeed, she was deeply poisoned by feudal thoughts.

Reflections on Thunderstorm 5

Hypocrisy and ruthlessness are the poison of that society. Some people enjoy it, others are dying.

Notes before the text of a book or after the title of an article.

In the whole Thunderstorm, the word "commit iniquity" stands out in front of my eyes. Unfair fate, inhuman society, allowing good people to die well, just people to die justly, only allowing those treacherous and insidious people to give orders and eat golden mountains. The days of iniquity come like a thunderstorm.

When "love" is a thing of the past

Zhou Puyuan, do you remember the pledge of eternal love? Remember the sweet words together? No, when your blood is boiling and you want to get back a rich girl, those loves are not warm at all, and those feelings will become the past. You ruthlessly kicked Shi Ping out of the house just three days after giving birth. She was so weak that she had to pull a hungry baby. Isn't this the remark that killed innocent mother and daughter? Because of your greed, Shi Ping is doomed. But God didn't even give Shi Ping a chance to finish. She was rescued and lived in poverty with that dull scar on her back. How many days and nights does Shi Ping need to see everything clearly and get out of the abandoned haze? At that age, her heart was so "thunderstorm" crazy. Nature completely destroyed your ruthlessness!

As a coincidence reunion

God reunites grievances. When Shi Ping changed from a charming girl to Huang, she met Zhou Puyuan, who once hated her guts. Zhou Puyuan jokingly claimed that she commemorated General Manager Shi Ping, but Shi Ping was actually moved, and Zhou Puyuan's hypocrisy began to show. If he really cares so much about Shi Ping, why did he abandon Shi Ping so cruelly? Why didn't he try his best to find Shi Ping? An empty memorial in form, like ink on cold paper, is tepid but sinister. He is just looking for a beautiful excuse for his crime to prove how affectionate and righteous he is. He blurted out, "Who sent you? ! ! "Return to the truth. The smooth and suspicious face finally appeared. When he faced Shi Ping and tried to hide his ugliness, his heart was so "thunderstorm" crazy.

When blood is betrayed

Lu Dahai and Zhou Puyuan are not only the spread of tragedy, but also the opposition between the two classes. Zhou Puyuan's ruthless exploitation, oppression and unswerving resistance to the sea of Lu became the continuation of the feud of the previous generation. Lu's frankness in the sea and his enthusiasm for resistance are impressive. But in front of the old fox Zhou Puyuan, he is so immature and naive. Everything is controlled by Zhou Puyuan, playing with his hands. It seems that it is futile to have a passion to deal with evil forces. When Lu Dahai learned that the miners had compromised their working hours, he was betrayed, and his heart was so "thunderstorm" crazy.

Thunderstorm is a mirror of the society at that time and a peek at people's hearts. However, the human sentiment it reflects is cold and warm, and the world is sinister, which is not stipulated by that era. How many "thunderstorms" come from neon buildings today?
