First, the problems that should be paid attention to in the topic selection.
It is the first step for students to choose the direction of their papers and write their own topics.
1, select the subject direction
Students can choose the specific direction of the thesis under the following two legal disciplines: jurisprudence, civil law (property law, creditor's rights law, marriage and family law, intellectual property law and tort liability law), commercial law, constitutional law, administrative law, criminal law, criminal procedure law, civil procedure law, economic law, labor law and international law (public international law, private international law, international economic law and international trade law).
2. The principle of topic selection is: interest+knowledge+information.
When choosing a topic, we should fully consider the needs and possibilities; The topic selection should have certain theoretical and practical significance. In particular, I hope that students can solve practical problems in real social life by using the theoretical knowledge of law they have learned through the writing of papers to avoid too big a topic.
Step 3 choose a theme
When students choose topics: choose topics of interest in combination with professional courses; Encourage students to choose topics for their papers in combination with hot issues in real society. Do you want to grasp the topic? Four natures? : first, reality. The topic should not be too old and lag behind the current situation, and should be based on the current hot issues, legislative trends and trends, and problems that need to be solved urgently in society. Such a topic selection is valuable. The second one is theoretical. Use the theory of your major to analyze and solve problems, or quote other people's theoretical viewpoints to analyze and solve problems. Don't write too realistically, but write a research report or work summary. The third is pertinence. Papers can not be generalized, but should be written as literature review or viewpoint review. It must be written for a controversial theoretical issue in academic circles or a theoretical issue in legislation and justice. The fourth is innovation. The paper should have the author's own point of view, don't follow suit, and have some new ideas. It is best not to choose a topic that has been decided by the academic community.
4. The problem of choosing a topic.
The problems that are easy to appear in the topic selection are as follows: 1. The topic selection is wide. The topic is too big for students to control and go deep into. It is impossible to write a good paper by listing all levels and covering all aspects. On the contrary, if a good topic is designed and a specific theoretical problem can be studied in depth, it may be of great significance to enrich our legal theory or judicial practice. Second, the topic is outdated, the selected materials are outdated, and nothing new can be written.
Second, the writing steps and time schedule
1. Thesis topics can be selected from (academic year thesis topic reference) on the law school website, or students can choose their own topics.
2. After selecting the topic of the thesis, students should take the initiative to ask the instructor for advice. After the tutor has revised it, he should write an outline of the paper. They can't write the first draft of the paper until the revision of the outline of the paper is approved by the tutor. The first draft of the paper must be written by hand, not printed by computer. The first draft of the paper can only be finalized after 2-3 rounds of revision by the tutor. For the print format of the paper, please refer to the Writing Format Specification.
3. Time arrangement: On April 2nd, the topic selection table of the academic year paper will be distributed, and the dean of the college will arrange the work arrangement of the academic year paper and explain how to write the academic year paper. On April 7th, students returned to the topic list. On April 8, the college confirmed the instructor. Students complete the three-level outline of the thesis and submit it to the tutor for revision. April1April-May 30th is the writing time for students, and the first draft of the paper is formed (completed by writing), and the second or third draft of the paper is formed after revision by the tutor. Print the academic year paper in triplicate after finalization. One of them is given to the tutor to write the comments and achievements of the paper, and the other two, as well as the three-level outline, the first draft, the second draft, the third draft, the reference materials and the text of the paper, are put into the information bag and submitted to the teaching secretary of the college for filing.
Third, the papers and documents that students should submit.
