Confucius' Rites and Feudal Ethics
Confucius' ceremony is the ceremony of Shang and Zhou Dynasties, that is, the etiquette before the Spring and Autumn Period. It is the representative of feudal etiquette.

The so-called feudal etiquette is the etiquette adopted or stipulated by the rulers in order to strengthen their rule, that is, vigorously promoting the traditional etiquette that is beneficial to them.

Speaking of contact, it is obvious from the front. However, its purpose is completely different. Confucius' ceremony is to teach people to cultivate self-cultivation and give people the standard of being a man. The feudal rulers only took advantage of its beneficial side to their own feudal rule and developed some aspects of Confucius' ritual that imprisoned people and made it develop into feudal ethics.
