Chapter I General Principles

Article 1 These Provisions are formulated in order to further strengthen the cultivation of graduate students' scientific research ability and improve the level of graduate dissertations and social competitiveness.

Article 2 The papers referred to in these Provisions are original academic papers published by graduate students within the specified time, and the contents of the papers are part of my dissertation.

Chapter II Requirements for Publication of Papers

Article 3 Document Requirements

(1) PhD graduate student

At least 1 SCI papers (including SCIE and SSCI, hereinafter referred to as SCI) have been published.

(2) Postgraduates with a Master of Science degree.

At least 1 articles should be published in Chinese core journals.

(3) Those who have won the top two patents for the invention of postgraduate projects are not restricted by papers.

(4) Postgraduates with professional degrees

Encourage professional degree graduate students to publish academic papers.

Chapter III Requirements for Document Signature

Article 4 Document Signature Requirements

(A) the author's signature requirements

On-the-job graduate teachers of the Chinese University of Science and Technology analyze the published academic papers used to apply for degrees. In principle, the degree applicant should be the first author of the thesis, and the tutor should be the correspondent author or responsible author. If the tutor is the first author, the graduate student must be the second author.

(2) the unit signature requirements

1. Postgraduate dissertations of affiliated hospital system and school headquarters of Guangzhou Medical College should be signed according to the standardized name of the training unit, such as "XX College of Guangzhou Medical College" or "XX Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical College".

2. Postgraduates trained by various units of the teaching base are required to sign their papers as Guangzhou Medical College or with the legal names of Guangzhou Medical College and this unit.

3. Postgraduates trained by non-teaching base units must be signed "Guangzhou Medical College XX (subject name, such as immunology teaching and research section).

(3) The signatures of papers published by equivalent academic personnel who apply for master's degree shall also be handled with reference to the above requirements.

Chapter IV Identification of Published Papers

The Fifth SCI(EI) and the Identification of Papers in China Core Journals

Because the periodical catalogue included in SCI(EI) and Chinese core periodicals changes every year, the papers published in SCI(EI) and Chinese core periodicals are based on the retrieval results when the papers are officially received.

Article 6 Determination of the regulations on publication of papers formulated by universities and affiliated hospitals themselves.

Each college may, in accordance with these regulations, further formulate the regulations on the publication of papers by graduate students of this unit, but the standards shall not be lower than the minimum standards of this school. The regulations for graduate students to publish papers formulated by various colleges must be reported to the graduate school for the record.

Article 7 Definition of publication time of papers

(1) Postgraduate: In principle, the paper should be published during the study period, within 3 years after graduation.

(2) Apply for a master's degree with the same academic qualifications: the publication time of the thesis should be within 3 years before the thesis defense or within 1 year after the defense, and the application can be made within the validity period of the degree application stipulated by the state.

Article 8 Examination of examination papers

(1) Postgraduates who apply for a degree and those with equivalent academic qualifications should fill in and print the registration form of postgraduate papers published by Guangzhou Medical College on the Internet after defending their dissertations, submit copies of published papers (including publication covers, catalog pages and first pages of papers), and submit them to the academic degree office of the school for review after being reviewed and signed by the tutor and verified by the unit where they work, and then submit them to the academic degree evaluation committee of the school for review.

(2) For the unpublished SCI(EI) papers that have been accepted by foreign journals, graduate students (including those with equivalent academic qualifications) must submit the formal admission notice of the journal before entering the degree application procedure. Letters of appointment from domestic journals can also accept degree applications.

The fifth chapter deals with graduate students who have not published the required papers.

Article 9 Disposal of Unpublished Papers during Postgraduate Study

Graduate students who fail to formally publish their papers according to the regulations may apply for defense and graduate on schedule, but they will not be submitted to the Academic Degrees Committee for discussion and award of degrees. After the paper is officially published, it can be submitted to academic degree evaluation committee for discussion and conferment of degrees, valid for 3 years. If the required papers are not published within 3 years after graduation, the issue of degree conferment will not be discussed in the future.

Article 10 Handling of unpublished papers of applicants with equivalent academic qualifications within the validity period of applying for a degree.

Applicants with the same academic qualifications have not published papers that meet the requirements within the validity period of applying for a degree, and the application is invalid.

Chapter VI Supplementary Provisions

Article 11 The Graduate School shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Provisions.

Article 12 These Provisions shall be implemented as of September 4, 20 1 1 year, and the provisions that were in conflict with them before shall be abolished at the same time.
