Objective To improve the utilization rate of nursing human resources through effective management of human resources. Methods The nurses in our department 10 were trained in surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and operating room nursing. There are three nurses in the above three departments, seven nurses in surgery and obstetrics and gynecology, and four nurses in operating room and surgical nursing. Results Through training, scientific arrangement and incentive support, nursing human resources were fully utilized and nursing quality was improved. Conclusion Scientific management can maximize the development of human resources, give full play to human potential and improve work efficiency.

The serious shortage of nursing staff has been puzzling nursing managers, and how to effectively use nursing human resources has become a management difficulty for nursing managers. Since 2005, according to the situation of human resources in our department, combined with the characteristics of work, through training, scientific arrangement and incentive support, we have maximized the development of human resources, improved the utilization rate of human resources, ensured nursing safety, improved nursing quality and satisfied patients. The specific practices of our department are introduced as follows.

Our hospital is a second-class first-class hospital with two hospitals (general hospital and branch). Our department is the comprehensive department of the branch. In July 2004, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and operating room were merged into one department, which was divided into surgical ward (managed by surgeons) and gynecological ward (managed by obstetricians and gynecologists), and the nursing work was completed by a group of nurses. The general department has 47 beds, 2 operating rooms and 2 delivery beds. 10 nurses (all nurses can only be competent for the nursing work of the original department when they graduate), 2 nurses in obstetrics and gynecology, 2 nurses in operating room and 6 nurses in surgery before training. Even if there are not many patients, there must be 2 nurses on duty at noon, middle shift and night shift; After training, 9 nurses have obtained the qualification of surgical nursing (1 person can take part in daily nursing work in wards in addition to shift work), 6 nurses have obtained the qualification of obstetrics and gynecology (the other 4 nurses have obtained the qualification of daily nursing work in obstetrics and gynecology except delivering babies), and 5 nurses have obtained the qualification of operating room.
Two methods
2. 1 Business Training The nurses in related departments of two hospitals interacted with each other, and the method of synchronous training in the hospital and departments was implemented. Make a strict training plan.
2. 1. 1 In-hospital training Nurses with good theory and strong acceptance will be sent to the general hospital in turn, among which 3 surgical nurses will go to the general hospital for intensive training in obstetrics and gynecology, 1 surgical nurses will go to the operating room of the general hospital for training, 1 gynecological nurses will go to the general hospital for training. Every nurse can complete the training plan within the specified time.
2. 1.2 intra-department training. Nurses who have not been sent for training are trained in the department, and the nursing backbone sent by the general hospital serves as the teaching guidance. The department requires both the guidance teacher and the teaching teacher. Various departments organize various forms of business study and conduct theoretical examinations once a month.
