In ultrasonic nondestructive testing, the performance of the probe directly restricts the performance of the whole testing system. If you don't know the performance parameters of the ultrasonic probe before the test, you can't guarantee the accuracy and reliability of the test results. In this paper, the characteristics of water probe are analyzed.
Firstly, the development of piezoelectric transducer for ultrasonic testing and the structure, performance index and influence of submerged ultrasonic probe are introduced, and then the radiation sound field of circular piston probe is analyzed, which provides a theoretical basis for the characteristic analysis and performance measurement of probe.
