Wang Yucheng, a Beijinger and a native of Zibo, Shandong Province, 1975 graduated from Peking University History Department, majoring in China history. At present, he is an expert in bronze ware appraisal of Bao Bo Art Network, a researcher at the Institute of History of China Academy of Social Sciences, director of the Cultural Research Office, a professor at the Department of History of the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and a doctoral supervisor.

He has been engaged in teaching and research in Peking University History Department, China History Museum and other units, and has served as a teaching assistant, lecturer, librarian and deputy research librarian.
