Students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of Sun Yat-sen University should have qualified academic records, completed required course credits, met the language proficiency requirements, completed the dissertation (design) and defense, and met other relevant requirements.

1, academic performance is qualified: the average score of all courses is required to be no less than 60, and the evaluation score of dissertation (design) is no less than the passing score.

2. Have the required course credits: Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students should complete the required credit requirements according to the professional training plan. Among them, master students are divided into course credits and dissertation (design) credits. Doctoral students are divided into course credits, academic thesis credits and defense credits.

3. Meet the language proficiency requirements: Master students need to pass the Chinese proficiency test to meet the Chinese proficiency requirements. Doctoral students need to pass the English proficiency test to meet the English proficiency requirements.

4. Complete dissertation (design) and defense: Master students need to complete the required dissertation (design) and participate in defense. Doctoral students need to complete the required academic papers and participate in the defense.

5. Meet other relevant requirements: including but not limited to internship, experiment and blind examination of graduation thesis.
