In order to promote Buddhist culture, 1997, the master founded Xuzhou Buddhism magazine, which is responsible for the external publicity of the sutra and Buddhism. Up to now, millions of books have been attached, covering all provinces and cities except Tibet, which has played a great role in promoting Buddhism, guiding believers to be honest and clean, and loving their country and religion.
Master Guoguang keeps pace with the times, is open-minded and respects science. Instructed disciples to open websites of Xuzhou Buddhism and Xinghua Temple successively. Take science and technology as Buddha, and turn the network into an important platform for spreading knowledge from top to bottom.
The mage is gifted and intelligent, showing his cosmic wisdom in the infiltration of Mahayana classics. For more than ten years, the master has written a million-word practice diary, and every little makes a mickle. He published a collection of aphorisms such as Silent Avenue, Biography of Ten Monks in Yunlong Mountain, Westbound Poems and Silent Zen Moon.
Since 2000, the master has published academic papers such as On Happiness, On Religion and Science, and On the Influence of Buddhism on Calligraphy Art in China. From these articles that interpret life and society with Buddhist theory, it is not difficult to see that Master Guoguang's understanding of Buddhism and life has risen to a higher and deeper level.
In addition, the master also wrote some works, such as On the Social Responsibility and Social Value of Buddhism, On the Humanity of Buddhism, On the Scientific Spirit of Buddhism, On the Realistic Choice of Buddhism in Maintaining World Peace, On the Internal Relations and Mutual Influence of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, etc. These highly innovative articles were selected into large-scale academic conferences inside and outside the province for exchange and discussion. Among them, "On the Realistic Choice of Buddhism in Maintaining World Peace" won the second prize for essay writing in the first World Buddhist Forum, and "On Modern Media and Contemporary Buddhism" won the lotus prize for essay writing in the second World Buddhist Forum. In the Book Theory written by the master, some aphoristic Zen sayings with profound meanings and rich philosophies have been included in famous works such as China Celebrity's Motto, Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces, Chinese and Foreign Philosophic Quotations, etc.
Exploring the history of literature.
In 2004, Master Guoguang, who studied in Xuzhou for fifteen years, had a deep understanding of the Buddhist history of Xuzhou. The mage believes that Master Faxian of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, after learning from India and returning to China, built Longhua Temple, the first Buddhist temple with Indian architectural style in China, in Pengcheng (Xuzhou). In order to verify his views and explore the history and culture of Buddhist temples and monks in Xuzhou, the master made a shocking decision-to take the road of Faxian again and practice the feat of Faxian and Xuanzang's journey to the west to learn from the scriptures. In August of that year, the master set up a Buddhist delegation from Xuzhou, passing through more than 40 Chinese and Indian cities, crossing Qilian Mountain, Tianshan Mountain, Kunlun Mountain and Tanggula, wading through Liusha River, Tarim River, Tongtian River and Tuotuo, and crossing Taklimakan Desert. The master and his entourage traveled 40,000 Li in 39 days, visited more than 30 ancient temples, visited many experts and scholars, and collected a lot of information about Master Faxian. Completed the first and only major Buddhist activity in the Buddhist history of Xuzhou and even China. It has aroused enthusiastic attention and wide praise from Xuzhou people, Buddhism and academia at home and abroad. During the 40,000-mile trek, the mage had a natural connection with the universe and everything in the world, and had a deep understanding of Buddhist culture along the way. He wrote all the way, thus becoming a collection of poems.
In 2009, on the basis of full investigation, the master published the article "On the Historical Position of Xuzhou in the Dissemination of Buddhist Culture in China-The Dissemination of Buddhist Culture in China Began in Xuzhou", pointing out that the first government official who believed in Buddhism in China was from Xuzhou, the first Buddhist group in China was born in Xuzhou, and the formal dissemination of Buddhist culture in China began in Xuzhou. Through a lot of historical argumentation, Xuzhou was established as the most important Buddhist culture in China.
Compassion helps the world and serves the society.
Since childhood, the mage has been merciful and charitable. After becoming a monk, he followed the Buddha's merciful, kind and generous teachings and took the lead in setting up a special organization to promote Buddhism in Jiangsu, collecting money for poverty alleviation, disaster relief, education, medical care and environmental protection in Xuzhou, and carrying out social assistance activities.
Since 1996, Master has led four disciples to Xuzhou Social Welfare Institute, schools for the deaf, poor towns and schools to help the poor, donated money to help students, helped more than 7,600 people in need and dropped out of school, and donated more than one million yuan to various disaster areas.
Over the past decade or so, under the leadership of Master Guoguang, the Buddhist community in Xuzhou has carried out various love activities hundreds of times and donated millions of yuan. The scope of assistance covers poverty alleviation, disability assistance, disaster relief, student assistance, teaching, free clinic and many other aspects. The spirit of patriotism and compassion of Xuzhou Buddhism has been widely affirmed and praised by the society.
Painful and lonely, ink prints Zen mind.
The master's qualification is refined and his literary thinking is extraordinary, which is the clue of his youth. In rural areas where culture and art are difficult to get involved, the mage is a genius. When no one is studying, he especially likes grinding ink in the pool and often writes Spring Festival couplets to villagers. The landscape flowers and birds painted by the mage were also surprised by the villagers as objects. After becoming a monk, he used a little time to visit hundreds of schools, perfected Buddhism almost, and integrated Buddhism into calligraphy. Because the mage has little desire and is carefree, he can turn to the spiritual realm more directly in calligraphy. Therefore, if he writes in calligraphy, he can have a strong character, elegant style and ethereal artistic conception, which both monks and laymen admire and cherish.

The mage believes that, in a sense, art and religion have something in common, and both are exploring the value and significance of life. Throughout the ages, many monks and artists have experienced the mysteries of life and art through the study of calligraphy and painting on the road of practice, at the same time, they have broadened the road of meditation and broken the boundaries of all beings.
20 12, 12 In June, Yuanyuan Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Jiangsu Province, headed by Master Guoguang, joined forces with China No.1 Painting and Calligraphy Network, China Buddhist Art Magazine and Wutaishan Buddhist Art Research Institute to launch the "China Zen Painting Art Forum" in Xinghua Temple, Xuzhou. Understanding and spreading Taoism through calligraphy and painting has become a highlight of Xinghua Temple's cultural heritage.
It has been more than ten years since the Blue Lantern case, and Zen, Buddhism and books have been integrated in the mind of Master Guoguang. The master's ink painting "Where are the bells ringing in the deep forest" was adopted as the cover of the second issue of China Religion magazine (20 1 1), and together with a large number of other paintings and calligraphy works, it was compiled into dozens of paintings and calligraphy collections and publications. In recent years, newspapers and news media such as Calligraphy, National Art, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Buddhist Culture, China Culture, China Fine Arts and Art have made special presentations on Master Guo Guang's painting and calligraphy art. ..
