In recent years, college students commit crimes frequently, such as the 2.23 mega-murder case in Ma Jiajue, Yunnan University and the bear throwing incident in Liu Haiyang, Tsinghua University. It can be seen that it is extremely important to strengthen college students' legal concept and cultivate their legal thinking mode. The concept of legal system refers to people's views and attitudes towards the legal system, and its core idea is the attitude towards handling affairs according to law. In today's society, a correct concept of legal system is an essential legal accomplishment for college students, and it has also become a basic requirement for young students to stand on the society. How to improve college students' legal concept? I think it can be done from two aspects: First, schools (1) offer legal courses to spread legal knowledge and guide the formation of college students' legal concepts. Ideas are not innate, and a person's legal ideas need to be gradually formed in a certain social environment and cultural atmosphere. Higher education should take improving college students' legal concept as an integral part of cultivating their quality, and attach importance to and actively improve their legal concept. (2) Strengthen case teaching, and help students to establish a correct legal concept by analyzing cases. Introduce some current affairs cases in class, such as Hu Changqing's bribery case and Yuan Hua's extraordinarily serious smuggling case. (3) Enrich the forms of legal education activities. Break through the classroom and infiltrate the legal system into college students' campus activities, such as holding legal knowledge lectures, legal knowledge competitions, interesting questions and answers about legal knowledge, mock court trials, and organizing students to watch legal reports and other legal programs. (4) Carry out mental health education to cultivate college students' good psychological quality. At present, due to the pressure of college entrance examination, study, life and employment, most college students have some psychological problems. Many cases show that college students' illegal and criminal behaviors are often related to their unhealthy psychology, so it is necessary to strengthen college students' mental health education and cultivate their good psychological quality. (5) Manage the school with the concept of legal system, emphasizing system, procedure, equality and freedom. A good institutional atmosphere is very important to improve college students' legal concept. Practice is better than precept. Colleges and universities run their schools with the concept of rule of law, implement system management and run schools according to law, which not only improves college students' legal concept, but also makes campus culture clearer, provides students with a good academic atmosphere and is conducive to their all-round development. Second, college students themselves: (1) College students must first learn, understand and abide by the law, which is the basic quality of becoming a qualified citizen. (2) Pay attention to current social events and news, explore the stories behind the news, read more legal programs such as Legal Report and legal newspapers such as China Legal System, so as to improve their legal awareness and sensitivity. (4) College students should actively participate in social practice activities related to law and strengthen the concept of legal system in practice. Legal thinking mode is the specific working thinking mode of legal professionals, the thinking mode or thinking mode of legal people in the decision-making process to think, analyze and solve problems according to legal logic, and a rational thinking with value orientation, with value orientation and logical thinking as the core. The legal thinking mode mainly has the following characteristics: attaching importance to human rights, clear value orientation, and attaching importance to evidence, procedure and jurisprudence.
