Yan Yu called it the basic feature of Song poetry in Cang Lang Shi Hua.
Poetry is based on words, poetry is based on argument, and poetry is based on talent.

There is a point of view that "ode to love", "use Zen as a metaphor for poetry", "use Zen as a metaphor for poetry", "wonderful enlightenment" and "take the prosperous Tang Dynasty as the law". There are interesting creative methods, natural aesthetic ideals and artistic opinions that recognize the number of experts. I don't know how specific you want to be, because this can be used to write a doctoral thesis. .........

Yan Yu (date of birth and death unknown) was a literary critic in the Southern Song Dynasty. The word is clear, and the name is Canglang Jike, Shao Wu (now Fujian). There are Cang and Cang Hua.

Cang Hua is a comprehensive and systematic poetic work. Some basic problems in poetry creation and the methods and skills of poetry are deeply discussed, and my own opinions are expounded. Cang Hua is written to oppose the tendency of prose in Song poetry and correct the poetic concepts of Jiangxi Poetry School, Siling Poetry School and Jianghu Poetry School. It reflects the fierce struggle of poetic theory in the late Southern Song Dynasty. The book is divided into five parts: poetry discrimination, poetry style, poetry method, poetry criticism and poetry proof, with an answer to Wu Jingxian. Yan Yu's poetic thoughts are embodied in Bian Shi, and he puts forward the view that "Zen only lies in wonderful enlightenment, and poetry also lies in wonderful enlightenment", that is, the so-called "wonderful enlightenment" theory. Cang Hua advocates that we should start with familiar reading Chu Ci, learn from Han, Wei, Jin and Tang Dynasties, and inherit the creative experience of predecessors, so as to "comprehend" poetry. In artistic practice, Cang Hua emphasizes the "interest" of "antelope hanging on the horn, there is no trace to be found", and thinks that poetry can only be regarded as "wonderful enlightenment" if it reaches this state. Canghua opposes Su Shi, Huang Tingjian and others' "taking words as poems, learning as poems, and discussing as poems", but it has embarked on a retro road, which leads people to be divorced from reality. It tends to be mysterious to compare "poetic Taoism" with "Zen Taoism".

Cang Shi Lang Hua is the highest poetic theory in Song Dynasty, which has a great influence on the poetic theory in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The retrospectivism of the first seven poets in Ming Dynasty and the "verve theory" advocated by Wang Shizhen in Qing Dynasty can be found in Canglang's poems.
