Adhering to the combination of "production, learning and research" and closely combining scientific research with scientific and technological development and economic construction, the College strives to improve the level of scientific research, enhance social service capacity, and actively explore the establishment of a scientific, rigorous and dynamic scientific research and innovation operation system, which has made outstanding contributions to the realization of the basic ideas and strategic positioning of Tibet's development and the economic development strategy of the autonomous region put forward by the Fifth Central Tibet Work Forum. Since the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan", the state and autonomous regions have approved a total of 178 scientific research projects, with 47.87 million yuan of funds in place and 9 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards; Published more than 200 papers/kloc-0, including more than 200 core journals and 4 included in SCI; Published 2 academic monographs and obtained 3 patents. Efforts will be made to promote the transformation of science and technology into real productive forces, actively promote cooperation between schools and localities, vigorously strengthen social services, and jointly support agriculture and animal husbandry and regional economic development. It has embarked on a new way to give full play to the advantages of talent technology, scientific research platform and educational resources and serve local economic construction. It has undertaken more than 200 social services such as various scientific and technological training, technical guidance, planning and design, building materials testing and scientific and technological demonstration. The "yak lean-meat death vaccine" was developed and produced, and six new corn varieties, such as silage corn, super sweet corn, colored waxy corn, jet 1, double low-feed rapeseed oil 1, tibetan chicken Miao and Tibetan pig, were popularized in Lhasa, Linzhi, Shannan and Shigatse, which not only broadened the channels for people to select seeds, but also improved the scientific and technological content. Several ecological engineering experimental demonstration areas have been established in Lhasa, Naqu, Shannan and Changdu, and some research models have been applied and popularized in related work. For the autonomous region organization department, education department, agriculture and animal husbandry department, forestry bureau, association for science and technology, Lin Zhijun department, some counties and districts and other units and departments, it undertook 23 training courses at all levels, and used scientific research projects to carry out practical technical training for farmers and herdsmen in planting new corn varieties and raising Tibetan pigs in tibetan chicken, with more than 7,000 trainers at all levels.

Since 2006, the college and related units have won 34 national and autonomous advanced collective awards, more than 70 advanced individual awards for faculty and staff, and more than 60 individual awards for students/kloc-0. The college pays attention to the cultivation of students' innovative ability, practical ability, sense of social responsibility and spirit of unity and cooperation, further improves the incentive mechanism and platform for improving students' comprehensive quality and social competitiveness, and creates a good environment for students' personality development and healthy growth. Vigorously implement the quality development plan for college students, and successively build a number of platforms, such as innovative experimental plan for college students, academic innovation for science and engineering students, structural model competition, and entrepreneurial design competition. There are various channels to cultivate students' comprehensive quality and innovative ability. A relatively complete system of "award, loan, assistance, supplement and reduction (exemption)" has been established, including national scholarships, national inspirational scholarships, national bursaries, Baimayang scholarships, outstanding student scholarships, teaching award fund scholarships, special bursaries for poor students and various individual awards and honorary awards. We will implement the green project of national student loan, tuition fee reduction and subsidy policy for poor students, and vigorously carry out work-study programs. Starting from the students of grade 2009, free education and living allowance will be given to 30 majors related to agriculture, forestry and water.
