Zhou Enlai research column is a special column in Journal of Huaiyin Normal University. Juck Zhang has been editing for nearly 20 years, and there are 80 issues so far. He also edited the first three books (yearbooks) on Zhou Enlai's studies.
In the process of editing the column and annual publication of Zhou Enlai Studies, Zhang undertook a lot of work, such as planning topics, carefully selecting manuscripts, inviting authors, proofreading manuscripts, contacting printing houses, negotiating with publishing houses, etc., which ensured the quality and quantity of papers and made Zhou Enlai Studies have a certain influence when facing the whole country.
Zhang's rigorous editing of the research column has made great contributions to expanding the influence of research. Among them, "Comparison of Economic Ethics between Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping" is unique among many articles on Zhou Enlai.
As the earliest participant in the research, Juck Zhang put forward three 33% journal editing suggestions, of which 33% came from the research column of our university journal, 33% came from the most representative academic papers in other journals, and 33% came from uninvited or newly published articles. He provided constructive suggestions for the editor of Zhou Enlai Studies (Yearbook).
Party history experts commented that this column "has both overall significance and local characteristics" and called Zhou Enlai's life and thought research center in China "Nankai in the north and Shi Huai in the south".
Looking at the increasingly mature operation and some achievements of the research column, Zhang felt very gratified, but he did not relax his demands on himself. He plunged into the sea of Wang Yang and continued to contribute his blood to the Journal of Huaiyin Normal University and research.
