1. The defense secretary calls the defense members and the respondents into the defense room of the network video platform according to the defense time, which is limited to allowing students to attend the meeting (control the number of people, check their identities, and prohibit speaking), and keeps the meeting minutes and defense records;

2. The person in charge of the defense committee announces the start of defense, introduces the members of the defense committee and presides over the meeting;

3. Students report the research content, research scheme and research results of graduation thesis (design). The presentation time and defense time of students are the same as the original offline form. Each college (department) should request the time for each student's reply according to the situation. The student's statement should be no less than 10 minute, and the teacher's question and student's answer should be no less than 5 minutes.

4. After the defense, the defense committee will conduct a separate review to evaluate the academic level of the students' graduation thesis (design) and the respondent's defense, and vote whether to pass the thesis defense to determine the students' graduation thesis (design) defense score;

5. Within two days after the end of the defense, the Minister of National Defense will record the defense and the defense results into the management system. During the defense period, the school will conduct spot checks on the defense work of each college (department).
