What kind of books will attract you?
A book with valuable content and logical organization will appeal to me.

I usually read with a purpose. Before reading, my first thought is to think about what my reading purpose is, usually in the following situations:

First, in order to improve cognition, increase knowledge and improve thinking ability;

Second, in order to solve problems, learn some methods and skills to solve specific problems;

Third, third, in order to socialize, let yourself accumulate more talk resources;

Fourth, in order to entertain ourselves, kill time.

These are several aspects that I consider when choosing books, and they are also the reasons that attract me. Would you choose a book?

You may find that your reading purpose is not unique. You can study for two or three purposes at the same time. For example, you study mainly to improve your cognition, increase your knowledge and increase your thinking ability, but at the same time, you also want to accumulate some talking materials, which can be used in social occasions and be affirmed by others.

Actually, this is not complicated. Just think about it in an all-round way. Think about the purpose of your ranking first. For example, if you value the purpose of improving your cognition and increasing your knowledge more quickly, it will take up 70% of your total reading time to arrange the order first and then read some books with high knowledge density by yourself.

The remaining 30% of the time, you can achieve the purpose of accumulating talk resources and assisting social interaction. During this time, you can look through some reading notes shared by reading bloggers and know what some books are saying simply and quickly.

Similar to this logic, when you have multiple different reading purposes, match the time according to the intensity of your achievement of this purpose.

Then, when you think about your reading purpose, the second situation you may encounter is that you find that other people's suggestions come to you ineffective. For example, the purpose of your reading is to broaden your cognition and increase your knowledge. Then you see a big boss in a scientific research circle on the Internet saying that young people have to read the best books and first-hand papers if they want to broaden their cognition, and foreign works have to read the original English, which is the most reliable. Those second-hand things are all chewed by others, and there is no nutrition.

Therefore, when sorting out the purpose of reading, you should also consider your cognitive level, time and energy in combination with your own situation. The more accurate you are about yourself, the more accurate your understanding of your reading purpose will be, and then you can be targeted when determining your reading goals, reading methods and reading tools.

The above are the reasons why what kind of books attract me, and the suggestions for choosing books for everyone. I hope it helps you ~
