Reporter: Did you love writing when you were in middle school? What's the level?

Lv Zhiyong: I don't worry about writing in primary school, but I love writing in middle school. But the level is limited to getting the teacher's comments, and it can only be said that writing a composition is not a headache. At that time, I was almost obsessed with love. When I saw a famous book, I read it day and night, and my mind was full of famous books.

Reporter: What preparations and accumulation did you make for writing before you officially entered the profession of writer and writer?

Lv Zhiyong: I have read a lot of books. As long as they are written, I have read them all. It is very complicated. I also prepared a lot of small pieces of paper, extracted wonderful sentences, put them in my pocket, and read them at any time after work. The advantage of doing this is that I remember the wonderful pens of many writers, which are touching and beautiful.

When others are watching TV and playing, I always read in my room, and then I get pregnant. But what I write is always unsatisfactory. I tear it up and then I start thinking again. Sometimes it takes several days to conceive a novel while I am optimistic about it, and it is rarely published when I submit it, but I have never given up writing and never doubted my writing ability.

When we talk together, I usually pay great attention to other people's intonation, movements, demeanor and the content of the conversation, and write it down in my mind. When my friends leave or at night, I keep them in my "special diary", and some of them are semi-finished quasi-novels. But these plots all come from life, and they are miscellaneous notes that record the truth of life. When you are going to write a novel, turn them out and see if there is any suitable material.

Reporter: When it comes to writing and composition, many middle school students feel that their writing style is awkward and they don't know what to write or say. How do you think to solve this problem? Where does your writing material or inspiration come from? What's the secret of your creativity?

Lv Zhiyong: I feel that there is nothing to write in writing. I think the main reason is that I don't have the ability, and I don't usually read much or pay attention to observing life.

My writing materials basically come from life, such as walking in the street, repairing bicycles, walking, buying food, taking public transportation and eating. But I don't deliberately search for material, but integrate myself into life. It's just that when someone tells something that is interesting, they just say it, and I think about it carefully and publish it in words.

I have two reasons to keep innovating. The first is love. Love words from the bones and treat words as friends. Even if my "friend" wronged me, I won't be angry because of it, and I will keep a good attitude. I am not afraid of poor writing, but I am afraid of laziness.

Another point is hard work. Sometimes I think of a wonderful sentence or a good idea in the middle of the night and write it down immediately without giving myself a chance to indulge. Facing every magazine and book, I always regard it as a student. If there is a sentence or a punch line in an article, I will read two more sentences and never be lazy again.

Reporter: What qualities do you think middle school students must have or master if they want to write a good composition?

Lv Zhiyong: Middle school students want to learn composition. I think they should master two points.

First, don't be afraid to write. Having a good attitude is the emotional basis for writing a good composition. No matter what the quality of the article is, you should first write according to your own ideas, and then make more revisions and try to figure out. At first, you can imitate the style of a writer you think is good, but don't copy it.

The second is to be original. No matter how good others are, they also belong to others. When you write your own words, you can imagine it as your favorite thing. If you love basketball, you can think of the joke as running the ball. The most wonderful sentence is shooting. It is most important that you write in your own way.

"If you don't ask me to read and write, the whole person will be empty!" Lv Zhiyong came straight to the point, and his words were as firm as steel nails, which penetrated the thick wall of his era for more than 20 years.

Born in Shencun, Heshun Town, Linzhou City, 1972, Lv Zhiyong, whose pen name is Ai Wuji, loved writing since childhood. In school, the writing time of each composition class is one afternoon. After the teacher assigned the topic, he always finished it in less than one class, and the teacher suspected him of plagiarism. After graduating from junior high school, in order to survive, he worked as a carpenter for a while, then as a lathe worker, a chef in a small restaurant, a coolie in a construction team and an auto parts business. However, his dream of reading and writing never gave up.

Lv Zhiyong recalled: "At that time, I thought that although I didn't worry about eating and drinking, I couldn't live like this all my life. I have a dream of being a writer for a long time. 1993, Lv Zhiyong got married. He goes to work in the enterprise during the day and goes home to write at night. When others are watching TV and playing, he stays in the house reading and thinking. When writing, he revised the draft five or six times before copying it down. Sometimes his fingers are too stiff to bend. At that time, he was optimistic about the novel while writing, and it took him several days to conceive a novel. However, since the written novel was thrown out, there is no news. Even so, he never gave up writing.

Dreams bloom in barren land.

Where there is a will, there is a way. 1997, Lv Zhiyong's short story "My Team Leader and I" was published by Liaoning Youth, and he also received the payment from 50 yuan. This made him see the dawn of realizing the writer's dream.

Since then, Lv Zhiyong has studied and written harder. Every time he reads, he always keeps a dictionary beside him. He also prepared a lot of small pieces of paper, extracted the wonderful sentences he read, put them in drawers, carry-on pockets and bedside when he slept, and took them out to read whenever he had leisure.

In 2004, Lv Zhiyong resolutely resigned from his job and got up the courage to open a "silver pen studio" in Linzhou, ready to support his writing with literature. With the popularity of the internet, his writing has also entered the fast lane, and his works have been published in many newspapers and periodicals.
