Where should I put the page number of the paper?
I don't know which version of office software you are using. Let's take WORD2003 as an example.

If the cover, Chinese and English design description (abstract) and table of contents are on page 1-3, the text starts from page 4 (from introduction to appendix).

1. Insert section break at the end of the third line.

Position the cursor at the end of the third page, and then click Insert-Delimiter-(section break Type) Next Page in the menu bar. Press ok.

2. Insert the page number.

1) Position the cursor anywhere on the fourth page, click Insert-Page Number, set the position to "Bottom of Page (Footer)" and set the alignment to "Right". Click the format, select the starting page number, enter "1", and press OK twice.

2) Position the cursor on the page number of the fourth page, double-click to open a header and footer toolbar, and click the "Link to Previous Section" button on the toolbar to cancel the link with the previous section (1-3 pages). (The default is to connect to the previous state, that is, there is a yellow shading. If you click this button, there is no yellow shadow, that is, there is no link to the previous section. )

3) Position the cursor to the page number of the first page and delete the page number. ?
