When you spend a lot of money to buy these so-called "kidney-nourishing drugs", you are likely to have stepped into the trap of the merchants. Even some patients with kidney disease hope to improve their condition by taking supplements, which often leads to great disasters.
Professor Xu Anping, chief physician of the Department of Nephrology, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, pointed out that kidney disease in western medicine is different from kidney deficiency and kidney deficiency in traditional Chinese medicine, and the result of taking tonics indiscriminately may be counterproductive.
Professor Xu Anping said that many traditional Chinese medicine health products for tonifying kidney have complex ingredients, and some even do harm to the kidney itself. Chinese herbal medicines are not without side effects, and even lead to serious consequences in some cases, so it is not recommended for patients to use them without authorization.
First, you must supplement it according to your own characteristics under the guidance of a doctor, and never listen to false advertisements or supplement it yourself.
Second, natural food is the best dietary supplement, and it takes a long time to enhance immunity and prevent diseases.
Third, it is not recommended for patients with chronic kidney disease to supplement or recuperate with traditional Chinese medicine privately.
Fourth, we should pay attention to proper exercise, healthy diet, quit smoking and avoid: 1) abusing painkillers; 2) a high-salt diet; 3) Drink too little water; 4) frequent urination; 5) Excessive drinking of beverages.
Fifth, for patients with diabetes, hypertension and gout. The levels of blood sugar, blood pressure, blood lipid and uric acid must be strictly controlled to prevent the occurrence of chronic kidney disease, and urine test and renal function should be reviewed regularly. Once the abnormality is found, you need to go to the nephrology department as soon as possible.
1) Balanced diet, diversified food, cereal is the general requirement of the diet of patients with kidney disease. Advocate to eat more fruits and vegetables, reduce the consumption of edible oil, and have a light diet with low salt and fat.
2) Patients with renal insufficiency should eat a high-quality low-protein diet (the daily protein intake is 0.6 ~ 0.8g kg- 1), low in phosphorus and low in potassium, with high-quality protein (such as milk, eggs, lean meat, fish and poultry) as the main food, and less high-phosphorus food (such as full-fat sweet milk powder, clove fish and poultry).
3) For patients with diabetic nephropathy, a diabetic diet is needed.
4) For patients with hypertension, low-salt diet should be adopted.
5) Patients with gout should have a low purine diet and drink plenty of water to ensure adequate urine output.
6) For patients with edema, it is necessary to limit water and low-salt diet.
Paying attention to these points in daily life is better than taking expensive tonic. On the occasion of World Kidney Disease Day, the media of the Medical Association wishes all friends a healthy kidney! # Breeze Project #
