In our party's infancy, because we were not good at applying Marxist theory to the reality of the China revolution, especially during the period of Wang Ming's "Left" line rule, we dogmatized Marxism and sanctified international resolutions and Soviet experience, which almost brought the China revolution into a desperate situation. Mistakes and setbacks have educated the Party. Comrade Mao Zedong was the first to put forward the proposition of Marxism in China. 1938 in his political report entitled "On the New Stage" made at the Sixth Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, he proposed for the first time: "We should further integrate the revolutionary science of Marxism–Leninism's basic principles with China's revolutionary practice, China's history and China's culture" and "make Marxism have China characteristics in all manifestations." It is through continuous exploration and practice that we have achieved two historic leaps in the sinicization of Marxism and formed the theoretical achievements of Mao Zedong Thought and Socialism with Chinese characteristics (Deng Xiaoping Theory, Theory of Three Represents and Scientific Outlook on Development).
To realize Marxism in China, we must first solve the China issue. China's specific national conditions and history inevitably require us to take our own revolutionary road and construction road in line with China's reality and characteristics of the times. At the same time, the China of Marxism is also the inherent requirement of Marxist theory, that is, according to Marxist world outlook and methodology, applying Marxism to guide China's revolution and construction realistically.
It is under the guidance of the theoretical achievements of Marxism in China that the great cause of the Party and the people can continue to win. It is also the theoretical achievement of Marxism in China, which provides a powerful spiritual pillar for us to unite the whole party and the people of all ethnic groups in China. If a nation or a country does not have its own spiritual pillar, it means that without a soul, it will lose its cohesion and vitality. At the same time, the sinicization of Marxism advocates and embodies the scientific attitude and excellent style of study towards Marxism, and constantly opens up a new realm for the development of Marxism in China.
